Ted Cruz and Mike Lee stand as the Senate's dynamic duo for conservatives, crusading against President Barack Obama's health care law while infuriating many congressional Republicans with a tactic they consider futile, self-serving and detrimental to the party's political hopes in 2014.

CNN: “To tell the truth I am strongly against Ted Cruzs own position on this, but I STRONGLY support him simply because hes the only Republican standing up to Obama.”
I’m “concerned” about this particular approach to kill Obamacare, BUT now it’s time for all Republicans to back the team. It’s clear, for example, that McCain doesn’t like this, but when it comes time to vote, will he back it? If not, then the Republican Party is pretty much worthless and deserves to die.
The GOPe have the seniority and feel that they have Obama on the ropes for 2014. They feel that the young turks are too impatient and may give democrats an opening to blame the chaos on the republicans.
Rather than attacking each other, they should make this into a plan A and plan B scenario.
Support the young turks, that's what the people want. If it fails at least they were united in trying to stop Obamacare and the voters will be pleased with the effort.
Then we go into plan B, the 2014 elections with a united party and try to take control of the senate.
Am I reading that right? Do you mean you are in favor of expanded government control of health care?
The government meddling in health care, mandating what insurance companies must cover, where they can do business, etc. is the reason health care costs were skyrocketing before Obamacare. Of course, our ridiculous tort law system had a lot to do with it too, and all the lawyers in the government won't allow that to change.
Government, Constitutionally, not only has no mandate to meddle in health care, they have no authority to do so.
The propaganda denigrating and ridiculing the Congress is in full force. But it still remains true that Congress can fund or not fund any program it wishes.
Congress writes laws and spends money.
The Senate can agree to fund everything but 0bamacare.
If the Senate does not agree, the Senate can shut down Government.
What difference does it make at this point, anyways. 0bama refuses to implement the law as wriiten
“infuriating many congressional Republicans with a tactic they consider futile, self-serving and detrimental to the party’s political hopes in 2014.”
This is what Rino’s say about those in congress who work to implement the will of “We The People”, that’s what they all should be doing, but they are only concerned about themselves...Cowards who are content to be bullied by liberals, because they think it will profit there prestige and power. How stupid is that!
Yup.
But that argument takes a backseat for right now.
Stand up Ted Cruz, and all the rest of you GOP types, what in the world are you waiting for?
Are you so paralyzed by 5 years of Obama you have forgotten how America operates?
Well, Linda Graham and Juan McLame better get used to it!
“I mean I am (not) in favor of abolishing expanded government control of healthcare as currently carried in America.”

I don’t want to start a fight but that sentence makes me wonder why you are on Free Republic. I am in favor of getting the government totally out of healthcare other than constitutionally valid functions such as licensing of physicians etc. Ninety plus percent of all the real problems with healthcare can, in my opinion, be traced to government meddling. I think that most people can hardly imagine how much better off we would be without it.
I remember when I could get in a vehicle and drive to a doctor’s office, sign in and see the doctor within an hour or so without calling ahead. I can even remember when the doctor used to come to our house if needed. Now if a person needs to see a doctor and does not have an appointment he may as well go on to the emergency room and he may sit and wait six hours there. If you can wait that long you don’t have much of an emergency. Call today to many doctors and ask for an appointment and you may be told that the wait is six weeks or more. The situation is only going to get worse, even if we got the government out of medicine now it would take a long time to fix what is broken.
I believe American medicine is hugely over-priced.
Hugely so. Bordering on obscene.
But that is not the question right now. :D
Go Ted Cruz.
Obamacare, the clowns at ABC refuse to report, is the most unpopular domestic legislation to be enacted in the last 50 years....it was 100% partisan (unlike nearly every other piece of domestic legislation) on the Democrat side, and is an unconstitutional piece of dung.
But ABC won’t report those facts.
Oh....Where is Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell hiding??? MItch...better get out there and whip that RINO group of weak sisters into shape, like right now!!! You better back Lee/Cruz with every breath in your useless body!!! If you fail.... your Kentucky voters will send you packing next year!!! Time to grow a solid backbone in favor of the American people and nation Defund Obamabcare!!! (www.dontfundobamacare.com) Sign, folks, TODAY!!!
Well stated.

Still cannot understand what you said
Please add Senator Bob Corker of Tenn to that list of RINOs.
It's called the Race Card.
