I was witness, as a Texas to Mississippi morning radio broadcast received a call from an undisclosed educator weithin the Orleans Parish, Louisiana, school system, around 0630 this morning, announce to the world, that the school system starts the school day, NOT ONLY with The Pledge of Allegiance, but with "The World Pledge"!!!
Here are the words of "The World Pledge", and I quote:
" I pledge allegiance to Humanity, and to the World that gives us life, one People, united in diversity, and one World, united in peace, with freedom and dignity for all."
What kind of un-American nonsense is this???
Does YOUR school system do this, and you do NOT know about it?
Orleans Parish is the lovable region with New Orleans, the great city that embraces Senator $300 Million Mary Landrieu.
Have a nice day, and thought you folks should know this.
Whoever implemented this is a traitor.
(no national boundries -identity)
NOT!!!
Good post!!
??
Insanity spreads
Did they close with a rousing heart felt chant for king hussein?
"MMM...MMM...MMM...!"
Did they close with a rousing heart felt chant for king hussein?.................. Not yet, but I am anticipating the Hail, Hail, Hail! I’m sure its coming.
I feel so affirmed that I could just run out and hug a tree!
> Whoever implemented this is a traitor.
Starting the push for an Agenda 21 NWO in a black neighborhood by infoctrinating the students already. Chicago and Detroit to follow. Imagine that...
I guess its easier to push that stuff onto a population that lives for today and not for tomorrow and can’t seem to understand manipulation the way other parts of the nation do.
Is that the one that starts with, “Arise, ye prisoners of starvation...”?
“Now, to use the famous metaphor by Alfred Korzybski in his Science and Sanity (1933), this verbal world ought to stand in relation to the extensional world as a map does to the territory it is supposed to represent. If a child grows to adulthood with a verbal world in his head which corresponds fairly closely to the extensional world that he finds around him in his widening experience, he is in relatively small danger of being shocked or hurt by what he finds, because his verbal world has told him what, more or less, to expect. He is prepared for life. If, however, he grows up with a false map in his head [...] he will constantly be running into trouble, wasting his efforts, and acting like a fool. He will not be adjusted to the world as it is: he may, if the lack of adjustment is serious, end up in a mental hospital.
We all inherit a great deal of useless knowledge, and a great deal of misinformation and error (maps that were formerly thought to be accurate), so that there is always a portion of what we have been told that must be discarded. But the cultural heritage of our civilization that is transmitted to us — our socially pooled knowledge, both scientific and humane — has been valued principally because we have believed that it gives us accurate maps of experience. The analogy of verbal words to maps is an important one [...]. It should be noticed at this point, however, that there are two ways of getting false maps of the world into our heads: first, by having them given to us; second, by creating them ourselves when we misread the true maps given to us.”

Uh, what world are they talking about? Not one that I recognize.
EXACTLY!

RE: BwanaNdege’s submission of an an excerpt from a work by S.I. Hayakawa, Language in thought and Action;
purely subversive psycho-babbling Communist rhetoric!
Or at least close with everyone joining hands and singing Kum ba yah. Can’t you just feel the love in that school!?
He pretty much says it all. When you consider how much rank nonsense is out there in the popular culture, in education, in political discourse, etc., it’s no wonder things are messed up.
Thanks for posting that.
Hoping this report is false.
“I pledge allegiance to ... the World that gives us life”
The World (sic) gives you life? This is a religious statement. How does this not violate the establishment clause?
what a bunch of crap
