Their business, they are allowed to request. I see nothing wrong with it.
Starbucks can make any policy they want, if they wish to ban guns in there stores they can, but they should expect a drop in customers...
.Starbucks should sell guns with their coffee...”
Bought two black mugs shaped just like a gun at a fundraiser recently. Really cool. Maybe Starbucks could sell them??
Me, too.
529 total now - 92% say yes!
Made my head hurt though just to glance through their idiotic headlines.
As for our local Starbucks, I haven't heard it is an issue to carry.
My question is what conservative would want to subsidize that Leftist outfit with their business anyway?
They serve bad coffee and bad politics, two excellent reasons not to patronize them. With all of the outlets to purchase coffee, why would anyone choose to patronize one that is so vocally in opposition to their beliefs?
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) I’m probably on the wrong side of this with most of you - it’s their business, they own it so they make the rules. If I don’t like their rule, I don’t have to go in there.
I have a relative that gives me gift cards to Starbucks and when I’m in that area, I use their drive-through and get a café latte.
I just think business owners should be able to run their business.
Bump.
The question is should they, not do they have too. They should, but they don’t have too.
Poll FReeped. Doesn’t change much for me. Have never been in a Starbucks and never will.
he he...Up to 92% Yes Now!
And in honor of “International Talk Like a Pirate Day” I have a new poll!
Question: What will ya do with a drunken sailor?
A. Shave his belly with a rusty razor
B. Put ‘im in a boat and beat ‘im with a hosepipe
C. Turn ‘im loose wid de captain’s daughter
D. All of the above
I notice the Starbucks policy is that "guns were no longer welcome in its stores, but stopped short of an outright ban." It could be that there will be legal problems. A policeman or detective would be affected presumably. Would they be given a wavier?
The company said it is not asking its employees to enforce the policy, to avoid confrontations with armed customers.
It's never wrong to defend private property rights.
I have no reason to go into a Starbucks. Coffee smells burned and costs $4.00.
I make better at home for a fraction of the price.

“Just like the bakery which was forced to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, right?”
They shouldn’t have had to make the cake - if that was my business, I would not have made it.
Should Starbucks allow patrons to carry guns in its stores in states where it is legal?
