Sixty-one percent of Americans polled, who watched President Obama's prime-time speech, told CNN that they support his policy towards Syria.
Since some surveys showed as much as two-thirds opposition to military action against Syria in the days before the speech, the poll suggests that he did what presidents rarely do: change people's minds, if only temporarily.
How did he do it? In only 15 minutes, President Obama made his points, simply and straightforwardly. Anyone arguing a controversial case in the court of public opinion can learn from what he said and how he said it:

Why does CNN even bother to publish this Democratic Party BS?The Democrats are the most sophisticated liars on the planet. They learned from the Clintons that it works.
Not me. I had shoe laces to launder.
What utter B.S. I guess being a Bill Clinton speechwriter and John Podesta “principal” explains where this guy is coming from. No bias here!
I challenge anyone who agrees with 0bungle’s policy on Syria to explain just what his policy is.
which is what, exactly?..........
The leg humpers at CNN can’t stop with the spin.
The only people that watched it were Obama’s sycophants.
Nearly 100% of people that drive a car have driver’s licenses. So, do I presume that everyone has a driver’s license?
"A model of vacillation.. okay"
You are very wise.
Except what spills on their blue dress.
Perhaps it is because CNN and MSNBC are the propaganda arm of the democrat party.
(I refuse to call them “democratic” - they are anything but democratic)
The Messiah has mystical powers, in their minds, while their viewership remains brain-dead and voting Straight (D).
Too bad there is no State-Run-Media Network willing to report NEWS, instead of Talking Points and Shuck 'n Jive......
Since I estimate approximately 273 brain-dead people watched his speech, the article seems plausible.
I watched the speech on youtube afterwards, as I had a previous engagement brushing my dogs, during his speech. I have priorities, ya know. It struck me that in 15-20 minutes, he said bsically, “We are not doing anything different, we’ll just wait and see.” Just playing for time, he is.
For those who maintain ‘low information’ status, it likely sounded good. Problem is, it is based on the presumption that the government gassed its people, a wrong premise, I believe.
in other words; 5% of the population.
Only to the unknowing.
Oh!
The HORROR of CHILDREN suffering chemical death!!!!
Did the man NEVER hear of CHEMICAL abortion?
We CHOOSE to death THOUSANDS times more than Syria every MONTH!
He REALLY wanna save lives - then BOMB our American death chambers - not Assad's!!!
Amen...
“Sixty-one percent of Americans polled, who watched President Obama’s prime-time speech...”
“Since some surveys showed as much as two-thirds opposition to military action against Syria in the days before the speech...”
This guy is truly an idiot. Talk about comparing apples and oranges! He’s comparing a random poll (before the speech) with a poll of the 10 people who watched the speech.
