Da Fix is IN!

Assad will now do his master’s bidding and hand over a couple dozen canisters of Industrial Strength Raid.

Obama will declare victory and crawl in off the ledge. He will have “saved” his Presidency. And will owe Putin for that BIGTIME!

Ah. It appears the trillion dollar check Obama wrote to Putin has cleared the bank.

Kerry steps in it, big time!

http://world.time.com/2013/09/09/john-kerry-give-up-your-chemical-weapons-syria/

Speaking in London on Monday, after talks with his British counterpart William Hague, Kerry continued his efforts to garner wider international support for military action against Syria. When asked what would stop the U.S. from acting, he said the regime of President Bashar Assad would have to provide full international access to its stockpile of chemical weapons – a move Kerry said he believed was highly unlikely, the BBC reported. Even if the Congress does approve a strike, Kerry said it would be “unbelievably small, limited” effort, meant to punish the regime’s use of chemical weapons but not intended to get the U.S. military involved in a years-long conflict.

Kerry speaking rhetorically over Syria turning in weapons: State Department
Reuters ^ | September 9, 2013 | by Arshad Mohammed

Secretary of State John Kerry was making a rhetorical comment when he said on Monday that Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad would not hand over his country’s chemical weapons.

“Secretary Kerry was making a rhetorical argument about the impossibility and unlikelihood of Assad turning over chemical weapons he has denied he used,” a U.S. State Department spokeswoman said in an emailed statement.

“His (Kerry’s) point was that this brutal dictator with a history of playing fast and loose with the facts cannot be trusted to turn over chemical weapons, otherwise he would have done so long ago. That’s why the world faces this moment.”

Or, they could just ship them back to Iraq where they came from.

Make sure the international community gets the ones that read “Made in Iraq”.

Gee, I guess this means the "rebels" will be the only ones to have chemical weapons.

I can see them giving Putin the middle-finger salute and laughing their asses off at Obungo.

Great idea. It’s verifiable. It’s not likely to be controversial, and it avoids the chemicals from falling into the rebels hands when Assad falls.

This is brilliant maneuvering by Putin. The Syrian chemical weapons really have no value to Assad so he loses nothing by turning them over to the UN for destruction, and I have no doubt that he’ll turn them all over. This calls Kerry’s bluff that the US would call off the attack if Syria gave up it’s chemical weapons and leaves egg all over Obama’s face. Now if the US presses the attack they become the real bad guy and will face international blow back like you won’t believe. Putin with this move has boxed the US in and has left very little in the way of room to wiggle out of it.

This is all about doing the Saudi’s bidding as they want a natural gas pipeline to Europe and have paid off the Obama people to try and achieve that.

Perhaps the "special cargo" Russia shipped Syria negates the need for chemical weapons?

Note Vladimir meets with Iran in a few days.

Kaddafi was terrified into handing his WMD over to us when he saw Bush’s “Shock and Awe.” And you see how well that worked out for him in the long run. I’m sure Assad noticed.

This is the face-saving answer.

Syria gives up a few antiquated gas shells.

0bama says, “Good enough!”

Syria and Al Qaeda in Syria go back to their previously scheduled Civil War.

Everyone clams up.

Kerry was speaking “rhetorically” according a State Department flak. In other words, he did not mean a single word of it.

Kerry knows that it would be logistically impossible to secure and turn over the entirety of Syria’s CW arsenal within a week. It was not a good-faith ultimatum.

It was argumentum ad absurdum. But the Russians are clever enough to use Kerry’s idiocy to their advantage.

Vlad is the only voice of reason these days. Of course, they’ll only drop off a small amount at the front door and run around to the back to pick it up again. Buy, hey, it’s good for show and the msm can report it was a win-win.
