How did Obama blow it regarding Syria's chemical weapons? He opened his mouth.
When Obama opened his mouth, the internet relayed his words to Syria and the Syrians have certainly moved them away from sight.
Obama should not have said anything until he had approval from Congress if he was going to deal with them directly.
Too late now, Obama blew it by opening his mouth.
They're not yet adults and as they experiment with language and communication, they test the waters to see if anyone is listening and paying attention to them.
Some children NEVER get the notice they think they should have ... so they grow up to be gossip adults.
MOST n ormal people refer to them as assholes.
The first we would have heard about an attack under Bush would have been an impromptu news conference where he says, “A hour ago US forces...”
Obama had no intentions of attacking. He’s trying to shift the blame for no action to Congress. If they say no then he shrugs his shoulders and says Congress tied his hands. If Congress says yes, then they own the results. It’s all about politics.

Problem is ...0bama was never going to bomb the WMDs. He didn’t and doesn’t need to know where they are. He just needs to know they were used.
Second the WMDs are in the tunnels under Damascus. 0bama doesn’t have the guts to bomb Damascus.
Third, that simple truth makes this whole case about bombing Syria a moot point.
Fourth, taking our Assad’s aviation ability isn’t going to stop the use of WMDs that are where? In the tunnels under the city.
There is a reason the Bible tells us Damascus will be made uninhabitable. 0bama plays patty cake with a few cruise missiles and Israel takes a few WMD’s from her enemies. Israel then blows Damascus to kingdom come like it should have been done.
Israel certainly knows where they are. I doubt they trust Ubama enough to tell him, though.
Too bad. The thought of Syria carpeted with toxic clouds liberated from chemical stockpiles was the only possible upside to this.

So then are you making the huge assumption that it was Syrian forces under Assads control that used the gas and you are upset because he telegraphed his response??
Personally I do not believe that it was Assad’s forces at all who used the gas, what did he have to gain by doing so? The rebels, especially those aligned with Al Quaida had everything to gain as the US and others would then come in on their side and help overthrow Assad and clear the way for a Muslim Brotherhood friendly Government to be installed which to me is what the President is really shooting for.

Agree. He needs a way out and by dumping it on Congress he can claim they didn’t approve it so call the military strikes off. If they approve it, (unlikely because they are cowards at heart) Congress owns the subsequent mess.
In the process, the world sees him as weak and his “red line” threats as all BS.
Saddam had time to move the WMD to Syria...Obama has zero learning curve..so now they get moved again...I doubt we ever find them.

Yea that was a strange turn, Lately, I can’t help but wonder if the whole NSA thing played a roll in that, because he became such a thorn, or maybe he was truly a perve. Who knows.
Either way, anyone paying attention could see that Sadam was stripping seats out of commercial jets, loading WMDs and sending them to Syria .

We’re supposed to trust the same people that said the Libyan attack was all about a protest over a video (when it had 0 to do with it)
The most basic criminal investigation logic should make you seriously consider the rebels as a suspect.
