LABOR DAY TRADITION

Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed
on the first Monday in September,
that celebrates the economic and social
contributions of workers.

Labor Day has come to be celebrated
by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer.

In U.S. sports, Labor Day marks the beginning of the NFL
and college football seasons.
NCAA teams usually play their first games
the weekend of Labor Day,
with the NFL traditionally playing
their first game
the Thursday following Labor Day.

Mr. Beachy and I are going out tomorrow to do a little shopping, catch a movie (Maybe not if too many tourons...hehe) to help prop up the economy a little but then we’re sticking close to home Sat - Mon.

The back is doing better - still sore but I'm no longer incapacitated. I had a pretty good day at work, but the evening commute was horrendous - almost two hours. I'm undergoing intense attitude adjustment as we speak.
