On August 29th, the day after the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, fast-food workers around the nation are planning to strike for better pay and working conditions.
Workers going on strike are demanding $15 an hour wages, mirroring the demand for $2 an hour the organizers of the 1963 march made.

I’ll be sure and get a couple of Whoppers that day.
I could support the $ 2 per hour rate.
So these alleged workers are going to strike for more money when millions of people are looking for jobs, any job......it will take about two minutes to fill the vacancies.
Note to self (in crayon).
Do not buy McDonald’s hamburger on Thursday because no one will be there to make it. If there is someone there to make it, I don’t like to think of the words “scabs” and “burger” while I’m eating.
Let me know how that strike goes. I quit eating fast food and processed food product years ago.

Good day to get an application for your teen needing an after school job.
$15 an hour? Nice.
So a Big Mac combo would cost about $10.
lol
The other day I saw 2 guys in 90 degree weather and very high humidity doing lawnwork. That job may be worth $15/hr but flipping handburger not so much!

depends in demographics where the store is.more than 2 minutes is my bet.
LOL. That was a good episode.
I want the fast food workers in ca, to tell me how the increase in minimum wages has worked out for them.
Fast food outlets in Ca are taking it in the shorts since the minimum wage went up to $8.00 an hour on January 1st 2013.
Which means there are a lot less fast food jobs for them teenage kids looking for work.
YES!!!! Chick Fil A all the way!!!
This reminds me of when the illegals went on strike several years ago so we would appreciate them and their contributions. Well, one Mexican restaurant in my hometown went out of business not long after. Seems the locals stopped going after they shut down that day.
There could be blood in the streets.
you mean i won’t get black spit on my burger august 29? and i will actually get exactly what ordered from someone with a pleasant tone and smile on their face?
