Kimberley Strassel of the Wall Street Journal reports on a growing movement of anti-Obamacare activists to get the GOP to force a one year delay in Obamacare implementation rather than attempting to shut down government - which won't work to defund the law anyway and could have political consequences.
A swelling coalition of conservative activists-card-carrying members of the "repeal ObamaCare" campaign-are lighting up the movement with a different approach. The plan aims to leverage public support, play on Democrat weaknesses, and, most notably, sidestep a shutdown fight that would damage the GOP even as it failed to kill the law. Meet the "Delay coalition."
The rallying cry of Defunders is that this moment is the GOP's "last chance" to put the brakes on ObamaCare. Yet by that very logic, the GOP strategy had better offer a chance at success. Shutdown doesn't. Mr. Obama and Senate Democrats will never agree to tank their signature achievement. The White House is salivating over the chance to pin a shutdown on Republicans, since honest polls show the public is opposed to shutting down government over ObamaCare. Even the Defund ringleaders admit-at least in private-that this fight isn't going to end with a defunded law.
The Delay strategy is at least aimed at an achievable goal. Its outlines are contained in a letter engineered by Heather Higgins, CEO of Independent Women's Voice. The letter was crafted with aid of influential repeal activists--Phil Kerpen at American Commitment, Grover Norquist and Ryan Ellis at Americans for Tax Reform, the Galen Institute's Grace-Marie Turner, Jim Capretta, Ken Hoagland, Avik Roy, the list rolls on--and now has more than 40 signatures. The letter calls on congressional Republican leaders to use one of this fall's legislative fights to impose a one-year delay of ObamaCare's individual mandate, exchange subsidies and taxes.

The cowardly GOP just needs to get out of responsibility by demand Obamacare be put to a national vote/referendum because of the magnitude of the decision..

We MUST have an alternative, to propose.
Otherwise we are simply looking for fault.
FIX HEALTHCARE.
Choke it, stomp it, wring its neck until it is dead, dead, dead. Do not fund one silly little paper clip or pencil for it. Strip its soon-to-be bloated armada of Navigators, HHS administrators, Obama Death Panels, hundreds of crooked crony organizations of every frigging red cent they covet.
Banish its supporters, both DNC and GOP that seek to rob us of our treasure, our welfare and out freedom.
Let it all burn to the ground if need be.

The problem is nobody even wants to give it the time of day ( not even the GOP ).
You can fix healthcare as it stands today by banishing Medicare and Medicaid fraud in patient transport, medical devices and aids and doctor shopping.
You can fix healthcare by limiting or amending tort reform that requires a losing claimant to compensate the accused for time and money lost.
Just like “immigration” you don’t have to create whole new fix; you only need to rigorously contain fraud and abuse, and make the tort system a level playing ground.
The correct alternative is the free market. What we need is a conservative leader who can articulate why freedom is good and why economic freedom is a critical aspect of that freedom. The far left media are complicit in spreading the message that we are better off as pets who have the big government liberal leadership to take care of us. We need to counter that message.
There are weekly appearances of Dr Ben Carson on Cavuto where he tells of his group developing the plan. He does not describe the plan but in his laid back manner convincingly states it is real.
I have concluded the revelation is a matter of timing. I suspect the timing is 2014 in the heat of the campaign when a devastating production will take place that disallows time for meaningful rebuttal.
The battle will not be forced but “at a time and place of our choosing”
The battle plan is in place and the battlefield being prepared

And I mean a real alternative.
One which does not bankrupt Americans.
That it the problem. We currently have a system which methodically destroys lives.
FIX THAT.
However lightly you think the chains rest, rest assured that the IRS stands at the ready to yank them and take everything you have should you attempt to flee the plantation.
We're seeing corporations using this as a way to explain giving up on providing health care for their employees. Thus, one can't help but suspect that the RINO Republicans who only serve their corporate-globalist masters aren't unhappy with transferring that bill to someone else.
The strategy of all career politicians is save their own hides. Incumbency supersedes principle.
And thats the beauty of a Ref/vote. they can save their hides and get out of any backlash. Isn’t that what libs demand? One man one vote? Let the people be heard?
So take them up on it.
They can then try to grovel after we vote it down. It buys them time and thats all they care about.

Price’s plan looks interesting. Truthfully, I wish the government would walk away and do nothing — which is to say, allow catastrophic insurance to be offered, and to take down other prohibitions which limit what insurance companies can offer. But I realize that the government wants to be involved. That being said, tax credits and deductions seem like better ideas than anything Obama has to offer. Too bad the GOP is pushing Price’s concept. But I’m not surprised: I am convinced that the GOP supports Obama because the GOP is severely compromised.
OKLAHOMA WINS FIRST OCARE BATTLE: AG Pruitt--- "Obamacare was meant to be so open-ended that it could mean anything. We are seeing thousands of pages of new rules being written, both by HHS and the IRS. The open-ended interpretation of Obamacare enables this.....if the law doesn't contain a particular provision, no problem. They just make it up as they go along."
Such is the case that involves the OK lawsuit.
“The court rejected the federal government’s argument that Oklahoma lacked standing to challenge the law, allowing us to proceed with this pivotal case,” “We’re optimistic the court will recognize what states have known for months that the IRS disregarded the law by making the large employer mandate effective in Oklahoma or in any of the 33 other states without a state health care exchange.”
REFERENCE Oklahoma challenged implementation of the Affordable Care Act after the IRS finalized a rule that would allow the federal government to punish “large employers,” including local government, with millions of dollars in tax penalties in states without state health care exchanges, which is not allowed under the health care law.
“Congress provided a choice for Oklahoma and other states in implementation of the health care law, and the IRS is attempting to take that away by rule,” General Pruitt said. “The administration miscalculated how many states would support this law, so now they’re using the IRS to push through provisions that Congress did not pass.”

(1) We need to get the OK lawsuit going in every state. Contact the PTB in your state.
(2) Judging from the legal language AG Pruitt used, I would also conclude that Obamacare might be ripe for a RICO action.
NOTE: anybody can file a RICO. How-to sites are all over the web.
Obamacare is already funded, closing the government down will have little effect other than giving the Democrats something to point to for Obamacare's failure. Quickly pass the continuing resolution then have your battle with the debt limit ceiling.
It cannot be ‘funded’ if the time periods stipulated in the actual law have passed and the abortion of a law is waiting on further budgetary action from Congress. Besides, the House of Representatives has the sole power to initiate and provide ANY spending bill that goes to the Senate or the President. It is not over, and I say do it if you can NOW, not on another debt limit crisis around 2014 elections.
