Irritated by Starbucks decision to remain neutral and not ban lawful carry, anti-Second Amendment organizations in North Carolina have developed plans to boycott the chain this Saturday. Dubbing their misguided effort Skip Starbucks Saturday antis hope to punish the brand nationwide.
As North Carolinas HB 937 is implemented, it will become increasingly important for us to clearly stand behind restaurants who do not interfere with expanded carry under state law, - the Ammoland.com resource stated, which is, as the site name clearly indicates, the advocate of the Second Amendment.
They also claimed that they needed to show that North Carolina gun owners highly appreciate the restaurants support and that by doing so, restaurants had put themselves in a winning position commercially.

Second Amendment supporters’ proper response is to pick up food at Chick-Fil-A.
Thanks Navy Patriot.
If this is verifiable, Momma and I are headed out for coffee tomorrow.. -Schneeks..
I think I’m going to be sick.
Maybe I will.
But I tell you, it’s gonna be like kissing crazy great aunt Sadie,
wondering if the old gal isn’t gonna try to ‘slip you the tongue’ ...
I only drink coffee at work. Owner of company provides coffee at no cost in a machine. It is quite good. After working to 2 AM in my PT night job and showing up at 6 AM for the FT job, coffee is a shot in the arm. Take it straight black, 3 cups keeps me going for 8 hours on the FT gig .
I think I need some coffee tomorrow.
Actually, I have my two favorite drinks. A breve cappuccino, which means with half-and-half (what a misnomer), is one. The half-and-half mellows out the overroasted taste of the Stabucks coffee, especially if you get one and a half shots of espresso instead of two in a grande. You have to watch that they give you fresh espresso, though, not one that’s been sitting around, because it gets bitter really fast. It’s an art and a science, I tell ya.
The other drink is black tea lemonade. For some reason these two liquids go together really well—better than tea alone or lemonade alone. The problem with this one is that they run out of lemonade in the summer, and Starbucks won’t let them order extra.
And that’s all.
Hmmm, 8 cups keeps me going for 3 hours.

Thanks for going to the trouble of informing us.
It is what freerepublic is all about.

“Darn...guess I gotta buy a $5 cup of coffee this weekend.”
My sister-in-law gives me gift cards to Starbucks every Christmas. I have two of them and each was $25. I think some is off of one of them but still has some left and the other must be full. I’ll drive over there this weekend and get a latté. If you were here, I’d buy one for you of whatever kind you like.
And don’t forget that they also offer a “short” cup. Not advertised, not all stores have it, but it exists with a lower price (and volume) than a “tall”.
bttt
Roger that!!! I plan on going to several SBux Saturday :)
The only thing I ever get there is the “Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino® Blended Crème.” I don’t think there’s much coffee in it but you can have them add and extra shot.
I don’t know when “Chocolate” became “Chocolaty.” I guess Chocolaty Chips are fake. For the price, you’d think they could use real chocolate.
It’s easy to make your own at home with a bunch of milk, ice cream, coffee, chocolate powder, real chocolate chips, and ice. Toss it in a blender. Hit it with whipped cream, forget the cute dribble of chocolate. You’ll need the 1/2” straw. Great health food!
What did you vote on? All I saw was a Bradley Manning poll next to the Starbucks gun article.
