Fox News' Bret Baier: Dual Citizens Can't Be President (Finally They Get It Right!)
Fox News ^ | 8-21-2103

TEAM OBAMA FLASHBACK:

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children. Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1982.” - Obama's Fight the Smears and Factheck.org.

What is amazing is that you’re irritated that Charles Lane, a leftist dupe,is just doing what he does normally and naturally. The media in general and Zero’s supporters all do what comes naturally. I think they all need to be seen as the enemy of everything that has made our nation a great constitutional republic and treated accordingly.

The Canada Citizenship Act of 1947 made Cruz a subject of the British Crown.

He was not a natural born Citizen at birth. Therefore, he is not eligible for Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution.

A natural born Citizen is never born with split allegiances.

by “treated accordingly”, I mean the old fashioned remedy of shunning. They should be shunned in daily life, shunned in primaries and shunned at the ballot box.

I’m with you. At this point we need a guy who is going to at least attempt to cut govt, pushback on the police state and start restoring the constitutional republic. Cruz is more of an American that Barky Obama will ever be.

In three and half years from nwo there isn’t going to be much left of the USA so its going to be a tough fight to bring her back. This birther issue is getting us nowhere.

>>I’ll vote for Cruz if he runs and for those who don’t like it, so I’m a hypocrite now kiss my ass.<<

Fine then. If we go down this road, don’t be surprised if the democrats run a guy with dual citizenship with Mexico or China.

Guess that’s ok with you.

The notion that the laws of a foreign country can control eligibility for office in the United States is a little far fetched.

More importantly, do you really want a man who was born in Canada, and has a law degree from Harvard University, but was too stupid to know that he was a citizen of Canada, running our country?

Or is he just a liar? because he has also stated that his mother once told him that he had Canadian citizenship. So he didn't just find that out from reading the Dallas News.

Spoken like a true Democrat. I'm surprised you'd say something like that, inasmuch as I normally find myself in strong agreement with your sentiments.

I like Cruz a lot, but if he is indeed not eligible, then he shouldn't run. Republicans are held to a different standard than Democrats.

And if Cruz is indeed not eligible and does run, then I won't vote for him.

I'm not convinced that Cruz is ineligible, but I haven't looked at the circumstances in depth yet. Apparently there is some disagreement over the exact definition of "natural born citizen", both in legal circles and elsewhere.

I’m thinking that the laws of a foreign country never crossed my mind and would not have been a concern for me.

It is dual loyalties that would be an issue. This is why the natural born citizen clause was written. The framers wanted to be certain there would be no person holding that office with a hint of loyalty to the king of England.

I was a birther before Obama was even elected but you clowns drove me away with your rabid willingness to follow anyone who told you what you wanted to hear.

You should ask some of those who post these threads why they’re always there to point out republican targets to you but don’t seem to have near the same passion for taking the fight to the democrats.

If the RINOS don’t want a conservative in office, then “Natural Born Citizen” as a term and a concept (as opposed to a naturalized citizen or a citizen by birth, will again find meaning in a way that they could not see when Obama was confronted with this issue by Hillary Clinton when this all started.

After all, if we are moving to a one world government, we can’t have these silly parochial interests limit the mobility of the politicians between countries.

I just wish they had started earlier, so Margaret Thatcher could have run the US for a while after Reagan.

There are so few who even choose to interpret the meaning of the Constitutional Law of the concept of the Natural Law upon which so much of our culture used to be based.

Oh well, my kids can figure out how they want to live with each other, since I won’t be around many more years, anyway.

Ditto here. I’m sorry we can sit on our butts for all the coming years and wait for a true American who has not been indoctrinated in a public school or we can embrace a person who was born in Canada even though his mother was a US Citizen, and love this country to fight for her. I take the later thank you.

Yes the US Constitution must be follow but right now this nation does not have the time to sit and wait. We must fight fire with fire. At least Ted Cruz loves this county than a natural born who was brainwashed by liberals.

Your right, DiogenesLamp, they want to play that game we should too and they can grab Obama’s fake birth certificate and use up their butts.

It is just pathetic that in a country of so many millions, the only politically viable candidate is not NBC. Pathetic. And unacceptable. Like saying the only person you could love is someone already married. Let Cruz be Secretary of State or Defense.

“If we go down this road, don’t be surprised if the democrats run a guy with dual citizenship with Mexico or China.”

What makes you think that hasn’t happened yet? I bet in some small California towns they are individuals in office that were not born here.
