A 10-year legal battle is drawing to a close in the Holy Land over several astounding biblical relics, including a limestone box said to have held the bones of the purported brother of Jesus and the first-ever relic of biblical King Solomon's First Temple.
But are they real or the greatest hoax in a hundred years?
Last year, the Israel Antiquities Authority failed to prove in court that the items were forged by antiquities collector Oded Golan. Now the IAA seems to have changed its tune, and the two parties found themselves in court again in early August. Now Israel wants to own the items it spent a decade calling fake.
"We understand the situation differently now," the state argued in court, according to Israeli paper Haaretz. "It's ours ... and we have the right to do whatever we want with our property."
The Israeli Supreme Court will soon rule on who will possess the items, Golan or the state -- a crazy situation, said Hershel Shanks, editor-in-chief of Biblical Archaeology Review.

In the Bible, Abraham is told by God to sacrifice his son, Issac, to which he obediently pursues to carrying out.
That G-d Dam rock is the surface of which the Muzzlems claim Abraham was ordered to sacrifice his son, Ishmael.
My point is as the story of Abraham sacrificing his son, Ishamel is in fact merely a fairy tale concocted by Satan's Messinger to his own end, I don't doubt they would claim The Ark of the Covenant, the true cross as well as Jesus' chalice as the Holy Grail were all kept in the rock, as well.
To prove my point one of Islam's precepts is the belief that there will be a second coming of Christ. Not that he ever reigns, mind you, but merely that he would come again. And why is that? In his desperation to attract adherents to his newly formed cabal such as the Jews and Christians, he modeled Islam to accommodate the practices of the Jews in the forbidding of pork and praying East towards Jerusalem which was later changed to Mecca. As far as making Islam more appealing to Christians he concocted Islam's belief of Jesus return.
But that is as far as Muhammad, Islam goes, merely that Jesus returns. In the mosque built above the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem there is an inscription in Arabic that mocks Jesus as God's so-called son.
According to these reliable, authentic, and universally accepted narrations, Mahdi will:
Be from among the family of Prophet(SAW), among the descendants of Fatima(RA);
Have a broad forehead and pointed noise;
Appear in one night;
Appear just before the day of judgment;
Have same name as hazrat Muhammad(SAW);
Escape from Madina to Makkah where people will pledge allegiance to him;
Receive pledge and help of Iraqi people;
Fight in battles;
Rule over the Arabs for seven years according to Sunnah;
Spread justice and equity on earth;
Eradicate tyranny and oppression;
Lead a prayer in Mekkah which Jesus(pbuh) will follow in;
NOT be the same individual as the Promised Messiah (Jesus).

According to these hadith, Mahdi will:
Be from the Family of Prophet(SAW) and descend from Hussain(RA), son of Fatima(RA);
Appear at the end of time;
Appear when earth is filled with injustice and tyranny and believers are severely oppressed;
Appear when a severe earthquaker will occur and green grass will grow (presumably in Arabia);
Fill the earth with justice and equity;
Spread brotherhood, equity, and devotion among Muslims;
Rule over Muslim community, according to Hadith, for seven or nine years;
Live and act with the qualities of the holy Prophet(SAW).
According to the various hadith quoted, they can’t seem to agree with themselves...

The joker who was claimed to be the mahdi and led that group that seized the grand mosque in Mecca back in the 1970s fit one of the prophecies to a ‘t’.
Those nutjobs were convinced that the waters of zamzam (the spring inside the enclosure, near the kaaba) would cure any ills sustained during their “liberation” of the mosque.
The “mahdi” was also convinced that he could not be harmed or killed, and was *picking up live grenades* thrown by the semi-competent Saudi security forces and throwing them back during the last above-ground assault.
Until the last one he picked up happened to explode in his hand, killing him.
There used to be catacombs under the the complex, which is where the really desperate fighting took place; subsequent to this fiasco, the catacombs were filled with rubble and concrete.
This angry, gullible mob of mahdists had a surprising number of survivors after the denouement, so the Saudis paraded them as captives, forcing them to view the body of their mighty leader. That pretty much took the rest of the fight out of them.
Some of them were from the US, and were repatriated, isn’t that nice?

And to get back on topic, speaking of relics, I think it’s quite obvious, that as muhammad never had an original thought in his head, when he plagiarized the Original Testament and the New Testament, to which he added a little ancient arab desert lore, the ‘Madhi’ who would return was based upon the Hebrew Messiah.
He just gave The Messiah some arab relatives, that’s all, and insisted he be named muhammad.
