DURHAM, N.H. It's a long time before New Hampshire's 2016 first-in-the-nation presidential primary, but a poll shows Democrats favoring Hillary Clinton and no clear Republican leader.
The WMUR Granite State Poll finds most Democrats and Republicans are undecided and no one's declared their candidacy. But if the primary were held today, 62 percent of likely Democratic voters would support Clinton, New Hampshire's 2008 primary winner.
Twenty-one percent of likely Republican primary voters would support New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan had 16 percent; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush had 10 percent.
The phone poll of 516 residents was conducted July 18-29. It had a sampling margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points overall and 7 percentage points among likely Republican and Democratic voters

No and hell no
I love how the media is pushing RINOs.
No Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin in this poll?
From The Red Star in Minneapolis?
LOL
That’s because they have no intention of allowing anybody but a big-government RINO to be on the list.
I sure wish they would give 2016 a rest. We’re going to play he!! just getting through 2013.
Thank you for this wonderful post. Fat Christie is a socialist sympathizer, Ryan is an illegal alien loving loser that fell from grace. They are going nowhere unless they repent ,on their knees for their political transgressions. This party will self destruct if it allows amnesty or obamacare funding in the House we elected. Want to bet?
No Clear Republican Leader
No need to worry, Porky Pig Rowe and the Republican establishment will come up with some senile old fart like Bob Dole and Juan McCain.
The race is Cruz’ to lose.
For the first time since Reagan, the RINO camp is split.
This is our chance, folks!
“I love how the media is pushing RINOs.”
Nominating Christie will kill what is left of the Republican Party. it will truly be an election where the Democrats win because conservatives stay home. If the Republicans decide to commit suicide by nominating Christie 2016 would be a good year for a new conservative party to field candidates nationally and at the local level. It might win a few local and state races. If it ran good candidates it would certainly be in a position to make major inroads in 2018 after two years of President Hillary.
I'm expecting the Dems to dig up another NOBODY from NOWHERE to run and replace Obozo.
Dear New Hampshire: you are annoying enough with your self-important, premature, overhyped primary. You have made a plethora of bad choices over the years resulting from your susceptibility to media suggestion and your vanity when your coffee-slurping locals believe their own press i.e. they alone are entitled to choose the next leader of the free world.
This system may have tradition behind it but it makes about as much sense as wearing swim trunks to the summit of Everest in terms of appropriate preparation for the task at hand.
All the Live Free Or Die stuff makes for a great tagline but in the end you have lumbered the rest of us with a surplus of squishy liberals with a few rare exceptions.
That said, any poll conducted by anyone at this stage is an otherwise empty exercise in name recognition similar to ‘most admired’ polls in which First Ladies are guaranteed to appear. In the case of NH it’s a self-serving reminder that they are first - but rarely sagacious in their choices.
Paul vs. Cruz and the winner takes all!
Remember back in Dec 07 when Hillary was a “lock” for the Dem nomination?
Then some unknown guy named Baraq Hussein from Kenya came in and stole the kishka.....
I will write in “Bozo the Clown” before Christie or Ryan.
NO MORE RINOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I my be wrong, but it’s my take the Left isn’t as thrilled with Hillary as the media would love us to think.
Obama is going to rub off on a lot of Democrats starting in 2014. By 2016, the loathing of this guy will all but destroy the Democrat party.
That response to the Obama appearance on the Leno show last night opened my yes. Out of hundreds of comments, on one I saw was even remotely neutral about Obama. No defenses, and hundreds of blistering negative comments.
This guy is not popular with anyone right now.
Hillary can’t pass the physical. You can love her. You can hate her. It doesn’t matter. She can’t pass the physical.
This early the polls are only reflecting name recognition.
