Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) is accusing the Obama administration of a massive cover-up in the deadly Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attack, saying it was “dispersing” witnesses around the country and changing their names in an effort to hide the truth about what happened.
In an interview Thursday with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, Gowdy said the administration is "changing names, creating aliases" of U.S. agents who were in Benghazi on the night of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks.

Smart people know how to separate their issues. Gowdy needs to be supported fully on this effort. When amnesty comes up, you can give him hell on that one, but as far as Benghazi goes, he's leading a pretty brave charge.
Alas, Gowdy is an amnesty “Dream” supporter...

Yeah, what a disappointment that revelation was. I had high hopes for Gowdy.
Looks like all the surviving CIA agents are being forced onto the Federal “Witness Protection Program”!!

I wonder if they got rid of Petraeus because they were afraid he wouldn’t go along with the cover-up.
As long as we’re talking about aliases created to cover up scandals, Congress should also let the public know who that Saudi “person of interest” at the Boston marathon finish line was.
And we really ought to get to the bottom of who Obama even is. He doesn’t have a legally valid BC in Hawaii so what he’s used up to this time had to be from somewhere else...
No, it was NOT negligence and incompetence, it was an intentional cover-up of an illegal gun running operations that was trying to move weapons that Obama had helped supply to Libyan militias,( including the Al Qaeda linked militia that attacked the attache house ) to the Syrian rebels, some of which are also Al Qaeda linked. It may have been what service members call a Charlie Foxtrot, but the lack of response was part of the intentional cover-up.

Also with the SA-7 featured above the target must be silhouetted against bare sky for the seeker to "see" the target. So if I'm a hilltop rebel trying to fire on a helicopter approaching from low in a valley using the SA-7 Grail, then forget it, the missile sees nothing, since there is a mountain behind him.
But After Reagan's air attack against Khadaffi (much later it turned out his daughter was not killed in the raid, as he'd claimed for many years), Khadaffi imported newer Soviet AA missiles, also, like the SA-24 Grinch, below, and THIS is the real problem:

It flies at Mach 2, reaches up above 10,000 feet, and the aircraft needn't be seen against empty sky for targeting. Also the Grinch needn't score a physical hit for detonation --it also comes equipped with proximity fusing, so if senses an impending bypass, it will still trigger. Also if there is remaining fuel, this, too, will be blown in the explosion as a kicker. Even with jamming and flares, about one in four Grinches will score a hit, generally.
What type of success might it get against commercial aircraft in their current form...? The Obama Admin does NOT want to talk about this at all.
My wife says the embassy threats is nothing but a distraction. “If we had known about Benghazi we would have acted. Look what we’re doing now!”
That’s probably why you don’t hear more Congressmen jumping on board with Gowdy - he’s a lawyer, so he should be able to do a great job writing up those Articles of Impeachment.
Anything less, means all talk no ACTION, which may also be part of the script.
