Suddenly it is imperative that Congress investigate details surrounding the attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens. I've never felt that way before. But Jake Tapper's scoop changed my mind.
To be clear, it isn't at all certain that the CIA was secretly funneling Libyan weapons to Syria, long before Congress "lifted its hurdles" on arming Syrian rebels. But if CNN's report is correct, the CIA is at minimum trying to hide something huge from Congress, something that CIA agents might otherwise want to reveal -- itself a reason for Congress to press hard for information. And if speculation about moving weapons is grounded in anything substantive, that would be an additional reason to investigate what the CIA is doing in Libya. Dozens of CIA agents were apparently on the ground in Benghazi, Libya last September.
What I want to know is why.

Well, I hope this gets going, but it’s unlikely that the CIA would have been doing this other than at the orders of Obama or whoever is behind him running our miserable, pro-Islamist foreign policy. Jarrett? Sharpton? Who knows?
But while I think this has gotten a bit of traction because liberals hate the CIA, once it is clear that it leads to Obama, they’re going to back off on it.
So the GOP has to strike while the iron is hot and focus as much publicity on this as possible. It’s all part of a pattern of autocratic, illegal and deceitful behavior by the Obama regime.

If the Commander of the 6th Fleet were allowed to testify then the truth would be told. The 6th Fleet no doubt was monitoring what was happening in Benghazi in real time and any competent commander would have had an intervention ready to launch within minutes. Who and why he was told to stand down will reveal many inconvenient truths about Clinton, Obama and perhaps just what the CIA was doing. Also it is politically incorrect to say but the activities of the homosexual ambassador need to be examined.
Something big was going down there.
This subject, Benghazi, four dead Americans, CIA, Libyan weapons smuggling, etc. is quite inconvenient for the criminal political movement currently operating under the guise of Obama “leadership, and now we see them turning to the last resort to quash it. They are now trying to make it as uncredible a topic as they succeeded making the word “Communist”.
This adminstration is up to it's eyeballs in blood.
I’ve been saying of all the scandals, this one and the fast and furious one were the ones where Barry stepped into it big time. Now with the dems supposedly runnight “thights” as their next presidential candidate, it is imperative to get to the bottom of this Benghazi thing and do it ASAP.
They let the fast and furious thing slip through their fingers, remember, this was Barry’s way to support claims we were responsible for all guns going to meixico i.e. ban them. They let him get away with that and no less allowed a principal to be PROMOTED.
Right now with all the scandals, some of which are diversions out there, this most corrupt and unethical administration in modern era MUST be sanctioned or we can just go home and play jacks.
Yep. When I heard this right away I said Beck nailed it.
He predicted the whole middle eastern blowup almost exactly as it happened and even used Tunisia as an example of an out of the way place where the Arab spring would start.
I know I was calling our involvement in the Libyan mess the fast and furious north Africa edition and sure enough those weapons have spread throughout the mideast.
I just wish people would pay attention to the international crisis group’s role in the middle eastern mess. They might not be so blindly optimistic about Egypt. They’ve been pulling strings and flipping switches all across the region and every one of the nations they’ve messed with has blown up.
At this time we have no one in Government that will help us.
The Republicans are as bad as the Democrats. Our politicians have taken the country out of our hands, they no longer care what we think, they pay off the entitlement crowd and they go back to their cushy jobs.
I have no doubt that John McCain knows full well what was going on in Benghazi.
DC is like the mob. Make sure everyone is dirty so no one talks.
Hillary and Obama are involved in Benghazi right up to their eyeballs. They can’t hide from that taxpayer funded commercial they were in that aired in the Middle East. Whoever got them to do that is brilliant.
It's not about "stand down orders" but "cross-border authority."
I still don’t buy the conventional wisdom that F&F was about gun control.
Somebody was being armed up.
I suspect the Obama adm was trading high quality American made weapons for cheap weapons from the drug lords then shipping them to radical muslims overseas for the Arab Spring.
Once the Arab Spring kicked in they were then taking the weapons from different countries, including Libya, and arming up more radical muslims in other countries.
John Bachelor said it was a CIA gunrunning operation in the first week...also training....running guns and people into Syria
