I am losing what little respect I have left for Christie. He runs to applaud the Clown occupying the Oval Office, but won't make a gesture of friendship to a fellow Republican?
What an ass.

A very cocky one at that. He annoys the heck out of me.
Does it really take a blow hard to push back on unions?
Seems Governor Walker in WI did without all the drama,
and quite a bit of class.

All anyone in the GOP needs to do during the primaries is show photos of Christie and his butt buddy Obama arm in arm in campaign ads. That will sink him fast.

The Paul interview was for me embarassing because my favorite news guy Cavuto egged Paul on and in fact inserted himself into the fray.
Cavuto’s strong desire to be the peacemaker dissolved his fair and balanced facade. He is a Republican.
The outcome was good however. Common ground was found, Philadelphia perhaps. Maybe Christie knew Philadelphia was dangerous for anybody that is white and nonunion
Christie will come around. The beers will be consumed

I am losing what little respect I have left for ChristieWhy have any respect for him to start with? He's a NJ liberal with an R after his name. When he first told the teachers' unions that he wasn't going to yield to their every demand, a number of silly freepers started gushing over him like he was something special. They had very low standards. Nothing good (politically) comes out of NJ MA or NY.

I have no respect for Christie. But Paul is really stretching this for all the pub he can get, and no sitting governor should schlep to DC for a ‘beer summit’ with a senator from some other state.

RE :”
Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday night hes a little too busy with his re-election bid this year to have a beer with Sen. Rand Paul.
The senator from Kentucky made the pitch earlier in the day, hoping to ease tensions that have escalated in the past week between the two potential 2016 Republican presidential contenders.
But Christie gave no indication he plans to take up Paul on the effort. “ I was watching the back and forth between Flower Child and Fat boy and it sounds like Fat boy struck back in citing the NJ high federal tax to $$$ benefits ratio compared to Kentucky's ration and then Flower Child just backed off apparently scared he would lose that argument, offering to have a beer with Christie on the Cavuto show. You see Fat boys response above,
Not promising for those expecting Flower Child to perform in a debate.

Christie would have time for a beer with Springstein...and more time to cry about it.
Christie is the poster-boy for arrested development, IMO.
