Another haunting number that has become a pops concert item. It’s what Tchaikovsky would sound like if he were alive today.

I REALLY like the 3rd movement to Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony.
The melodic twists and turns and odd chord changes are a delight.

His whole First Symphony is fun. His model is Haydn with 20th Century harmonies and progressions.

Hump Day has been okay, but it doesn’t look like my week is going to have a downhill slide to it.
I need to take off tomorrow, and will only have Friday and Monday to get some important reports/estimates done. The weekend may end up being shot.
Oh well, that’s life in the Gov’t contracting world!

How’s my taste in music?
Rockabilly #1. Doo Wop #2 Then, eclectic (all over the place - favorite singer in that category is Neil Diamond and yes, I know he’s a dumb Liberal).
Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, The Everlys, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Richie Valens, Johnny Rivers, Johnny/June Carter Cash, some of B.J. Thomas, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson (musically, NOT politically), Brooks & Dunn (My Maria, Hard Workin’ Man, Boot Scootin’ Boogie).
Lynyrd Skynyrd Sweet Home Alabama, etc.
