Worst. President. Ever.

After four-and-a-half years of Obama four of five American adults sturggle with joblessness and near-poverty conditions.

The AP reported:

Four out of 5 U.S. adults struggle with joblessness, near poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives, a sign of deteriorating economic security and an elusive American dream.....

The headline is misleading. Four in five will be classified as poor or near-poor IN A LIFETIME. That doesn’t mean 4 in 5 are in poverty today; the real number is perhaps 1 in 3 today.
It is interesting to see that the lifetime poverty gap for whites has closed with blacks - directly due to the emulation of their high illegitimacy rate by poor whites.
In contrast, it confirms that full time employment and marrying the man before making babies is a poverty prevention plan.

"Wow...that is a stunning figure. 80% of US adults.... I knew things were bad, but somehow 80% of adults? Wow!"

I'm surprised it's not five-out-of-five, but I guess one out of five must be born with a silver spoon (as was Barack Hussein Obama, with his hippy-dippy anthropologist mom and a Harvard educated dad).

Like most people, I've personally "struggled with joblessness" and "near poverty" but didn't need to "rely on welfare" because I got a job.

I was laid off twice, in 1989 and 1996 and both times resulted in very positive career advancements in new jobs in different locations.

It’s not then end of the world. It’s a temporary setback and it’s a very important message from the market.

The remaining 1/5 is “the machine” (gubmint workers and politicians).

Affected- June 28, Company EO Fiscal Year. They waited for everyone to get their orders in as they whipped us right up until year ends zero hour and then sprung the news that they were laying off 60 of us. Now, this HIGH STRESS Business Development Department will be asking reps. who get paid 30% less to do twice the work.
Things are NOT getting better and media censorship has people whistling past the graveyard.

You're optimistic attitude is more than likely what has prevailed in your circumstances. Good for you. Stay BLESSED

Please keep in mind, however, "the parade only moves as fast as its slowest members."

Unfortunately I'm currently seeing a disproportionate number of very slow members in the parade. They're the ones who don't want a GOOD job.. JUST SOME MONEY!

Too many leeches in Detroit. They’ve brought the city down and made the statements regarding America’s ‘diversity’ problem by three successive Japanese premiers absolutely true.

Too much Mo-town, rap, gangsta, droopy pants, hoodies, gangs and too many negro families without fathers and way too much Great Society garbage puked out by Lyndon Bird Johnson. He was a bird who shi- on America.

Those who have to stay behind in order to collect their welfare checks and food stamps are unfortunately doomed. There’s nothing that can be done to help them unless Jesse Jackass and Shapie can be deported to Zimbabwe along with Brack Obozo.

Now. What to do about this? First of all electing a nothing nobody of a socialist Muslim president was greasing the rails to send a society to hell.

Of course I think Obama is the worst president ever and that he has struggled mightily to destroy the middle class.

However, I read this piece and it seemed overstated to me.

In any event, even if it is entirely accurate, they are talking about people over their entire lifetimes, it’s not something that’s happened over the last 5 years.

But let me think like a lefty for a moment and say: if it makes Obama look bad - shout it from the rooftops!

Bring back jobs from China

And everywhere else. The rot started in the inner cities, and now has spread all over the US. Send home the invaders....they're lower income people competing with other lower income people for jobs. Stop taxing small business (wages and property tax generate taxes enough) and cut down on regualations so people can run small businesses or be self-employed. No more handouts....everybody is capable of some kind of work.

It isn't rocket science.

We don’t elect RINOs to office. We elect constitutional conservatives to office, and they traitor us before they’ve even had time to unpack in DC.
