Four out of 5 U.S. adults struggle with joblessness, near poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives

"Wow...that is a stunning figure. 80% of US adults.... I knew things were bad, but somehow 80% of adults? Wow!"

I'm surprised it's not five-out-of-five, but I guess one out of five must be born with a silver spoon (as was Barack Hussein Obama, with his hippy-dippy anthropologist mom and a Harvard educated dad).

Like most people, I've personally "struggled with joblessness" and "near poverty" but didn't need to "rely on welfare" because I got a job.

The remaining 1/5 is “the machine” (gubmint workers and politicians).
