Supporters of traditional marriage often fear the free speech ramifications that could emerge as as result of increasing support for gay marriage in the United States. But are these worries really legitimate?
In an interview with CBNs David Brody, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican, joined in this chorus, warning that the push in favor of same-sex unions could, indeed, put First Amendment protections at risk.
If you look at other nations that have gone down the road towards gay marriage, thats the next step of where it gets enforced, he said of hate speech regulations that are in place in other countries.
It gets enforced against Christian pastors who decline to perform gay marriages, who speak out and preach biblical truths on marriage and that has been defined elsewhere as hate speech as inconsistent with the enlightened view of government, Cruz added.

G-d decides who marries.
I trust that all sorts of other combinations will be properly adjudicated by Him in good time.
The ENTIRE PURPOSE of this tidal wave of gay propaganda and legislation is to permanently silence Christianity.
The Socialist State desires to be “God” and it will allow no competing allegiances. Religion must me driven underground. The traditional marriage must be destroyed. The individual must be allowed no higher relationship than that which he has with the state.
......Which will make a revolt all the more likely.
.....Or be driven to revolt.
That is the crux of the argument against gay “Mirage” for me.
I couldn’t care less about how people order their private lives, when it come to bedroom proclivities but, I am a Christian and I’ll be damned if a small minority will be allowed to whore, prostitute and bastardize the law for the sole purpose of undermining all of my 1st amendment rights, as well changing the language that has implicit meaning and further inserting their change for more ambiguity.
” The ENTIRE PURPOSE of this tidal wave of gay propaganda and legislation is to permanently silence Christianity.”
Main purpose, not sole purpose.
It won’t work, though. Real Christians won’t be silenced.
AMEN!
It’s a Trojan Horse for state theocratic perverted rule and taxation.
The state wants credit for our safety, paid with our moneys.
THe state wants credit for our spirituality, paid with our moneys, while it plays favorite division to the gays.
The state will favor anything, illegals, black racists, perverts hiding behind a gender language and what not, in order to promote its dungeon.
God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality. Makes one wonder why He hasn’t already gotten us out of here!!
They’ll go after Christian who support traditional marriage, oddly, though, they won’t go after muslims that do the same thing.
Ted Cruz is right on this issue and I bet nobody else in the Senate cloakroom wants to talk to him.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God: Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.
I called Cruz' office to offer support and his staffer told me "that's okay, it doesn't bother Ted".
The ramifications of the advance of the gay agenda on our culture are scary. I mean ‘end times’ antiChrist scary. We’re allowing our elected leaders to banish God from our public lives. There will be terrible consequences for that, for those who are imposing this evil agenda and for those of us who know it’s evil but do nothing to oppose it. I really fear for this country.
Not yet.
Conservatives always seem to start wanting more friends after their first term or so.
“You want a friend, get a dog.”
We’ll see. Time will tell.
