Jewish human rights group, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, has taken the hammer to British rock musician and anti-Israel activist Roger Waters after a giant pig shaped balloon emblazoned with a Star of David was released into the sky at a July 18th concert in Belgium.
With this disgusting display Roger Waters has made it crystal clear. Forget Israel, never mind limited boycotts promoting Middle East Peace. Waters is an open hater of Jews, said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Associate Dean of the center in an email to The Algemeiner.
The video is beyond shocking. The only books this bigot should be getting should be with the Mullahs in Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, Cooper added.
I came to the concert because I really like his music, without any connection to his political stance toward Israel, Alon Onfus Asif, an Israeli living in Belgium told Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot. And I had a lot of fun, until I noticed the Star of David, on the inflatable pig. That was the only religious-national symbol which appeared among other symbols for fascism, dictatorships and oppression of people. Waters crossed the line and gave expression to an anti-Semitic message, beyond all his messages of anti-militancy.

Note that he admits that it's a Star of David.
[Thank you Gefn for this story.]
he can’t sing worth a $hit either.
Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There’s one in the spotlight, he don’t look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
That one looks Jewish!
And that one’s a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
There’s one smoking a joint,
And another with spots!
If I had my way,
I’d have all of you shot!
What, no Islamic crescent? < /sarc >
Jooooos stole his talent!
Never a good idea to be provocative with people who can actually be provoked.
I’ve been saying it since 2008 when he turned the pig into a scapegoat. HE and his concerts have become the fascist HATE rallies depicted in The Wall. “Are there any Jews/Conservatives/Christians/Anyone voting against Obama... in the room tonight? Get them up against the wall!”
That sort of explains the whole business.
Whiners should STFU.
The Pig has nothing to do with “The Wall” though, it’s taken from “Animals”, where the pigs represent the ruling class.
Perhaps even back then, Waters was projecting himself in that role.....he based the Wall character on how he felt during that Animals tour, and how angry he actually became towards the audience.
When American jews stop voting in a-holes like obama and Bloomberg I might give a rat’s butt. Yea, I said it. Did you get that down NSA?
Absolutely agree!
I wonder if the Star was there during his US shows? He probably added it in Europe, thinking the audience there would be more supportive.
Waters grew up to be what his father died fighting.
I always had the impression that “The Wall” character with those lyrics was presented for diapproval.
Maybe I had that backwards.
If so ... he seems to be (or have been) a general-purpose hater.
His dad was a Commie, who only was enthusiastic to fight the Germans because they invaded the Soviet Union.
Rogers is a lunatic, no doubt about it.
I do enjoy his work with Pink Floyd though.
He pissed on Rick Wright during The Wall sessions....For me, Floyd is Gilmour and Wright dueting on “Echoes”.
And it was Gilmour, who wasn’t even in the band at the time, who wound up making sure that Syd Barrett was well taken care of.
