The Pig has nothing to do with “The Wall” though, it’s taken from “Animals”, where the pigs represent the ruling class.

Perhaps even back then, Waters was projecting himself in that role.....he based the Wall character on how he felt during that Animals tour, and how angry he actually became towards the audience.

I always had the impression that “The Wall” character with those lyrics was presented for diapproval.

Maybe I had that backwards.

If so ... he seems to be (or have been) a general-purpose hater.
