Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said it would be "foolish" to write of Sen. Marco Rubio's (R-Fla.) presidential chances, despite the hit absorbed by the Florida lawmaker from conservatives upset with his championing of a comprehensive immigration reform bill.
Rubio and McCain served as two of the primary GOP negotiators in the Senate's "Gang of Eight," which crafted the upper chamber's bipartisan reform bill.
I think its just foolish, McCain told The Arizona Republic in an interview Friday. Im not endorsing anyone, but I can tell you Marco Rubio is an articulate spokesperson for what conservatives believe in, in principle. And if we pass immigration reform, which is certainly not clear, he would get enormous credit for it.

I am writing them all off. No interest in Rubio or Cruz. Have yet to see any real viable candidate to come forth and it is too early.
Unless there is a real compelling Conservative to run then I suspect we are in for more Faux Conservatives i.e. RINO'S running and just can't see supporting any more of those types.

Imagine what Rubio would do behind your back, given what he did as part of the Treasonist Gang of 8 with Scamnesty while everyone was watching...

Even if Rubio weren’t seriously damaged by the immigration issue IMO he doesnt have enough experience to make a credible contender. Of course the same SHOULD have been said of President FOS.

” Foolish is listening to anything that comes out of McCains mouth.”
It was worth repeating. I wish McLame would just stop talking. I wish the media would stop quoting him as though he actually speaks for anyone but himself

How much you want to bet it was Harry Reid who suggested it to McCain?Somebody has to take over for Ted Kennedy.
