McCain: I endorse Mike Enzi over Liz Cheney

Yet another reason to find the Enzi/Cheney race fascinating. Tough call here for Maverick. Does he strike a blow for incumbency by backing his pal Mike, even though it means siding with “wacko bird” nemesis, Rand Paul? Or does he strike a blow for interventionism by endorsing the tea-party favorite Cheney? Here’s the answer, via the Corner. McCain endorsing anyone named “Cheney” at this point was a long shot, incumbent opponent or no. He’s been at odds with Dick sporadically for at least 10 years, dating back to the Bush tax cuts, then to the debate over enhanced interrogation, and then to Cheney’s criticism of him after leaving office for his VP pick and his bizarre political strategy during the 2008 financial crisis. (Cheney wasn’t above publicly knocking McCain in the heat of the 2008 presidential campaign either.) Liz Cheney actually took McCain’s side last year after her father called Palin’s VP selection a mistake, a shrewd move for an aspiring Senate candidate planning to run as a tea partier in a red state. That plus super-hawkishness, and still — Maverick’s unambiguously for Enzi here.

Even so, is she better off having McCain on the other side? Maverick might be seen as a respected elder statesman by Wyoming Republicans who don’t follow politics closely even though the national base rants about him daily.

It is very disconcerting to me that people are ready to jump on the Cheney bandwagon after we are on the vege of losing our country over amnesty. What is her position on this? And why the hell is she running ? I say she is a stealth amnesty vote in the making, and I challenge anyone to impeach my logic on this.

SJB, I believe whole-heartedly that you are right on the mark here.

Were Liz Cheney charging openly and forcefully against AMNESTY there might be good reason to support her. AMNESTY is the Make/Break issue that decides whether this Republic lives or dies. But she's not voiced a peep has she?

Otherwise she remains pro-homo agenda, pro-homo military, pro-NSA/anti-4th Amendment. And presumptively, pro-Amnesty. Liz Cheney is yet one more pro-statist elite who believes she is entitled to one of only 100 Senate seats.

As for McCain, who actively, and openly campaigns for their opponent, while running for POTUS? A MAN WHO WANTS TO REMAIN A SENATOR.

I am shocked more of us don't remind others that McMaverick did exactly THAT: Endorsed 0blabla while actively campaigning AGAINST him. As if that weren't bad enough, he and the RNC helped sabotage his own VP, Sarah Palin. If that's not evidence of McCain's treachery against the rest of us while purposely sandbagging his own campaign, then nothing is....

GET McCAIN O-U-T!! He's a stealth Trojan Horse Enemy Within!

The Republican party doesn't deserve our support. It has chosen to represent a democraphic already served better by a concern more dedicated to what this demographic wants.

This is of course the case, but why?

The problem with the GOP is that it has been hijacked by Rockefeller globalists since even before The Gipper left. Globalist/Dem-collaborators have long since established a beachhead within the RNC and GOP. We need desperately to take back that beachhead and charge it as though it were pill boxes at Normandy.

Now who have been raining deadly machine-gun fire upon well-meaning conservative candidates? That's right -- the RNC, the McCains, the Grahams, the Roves, even Newtie (who tried selling a liberal like Scozzafava as GOP), aka- ALL the establishment Republicans.

Bottom line: Liz Cheney will be in one of those pillboxes should she win, chopping down real conservatives while helping hold that beachhead for the McCains, the Hatches, the Boehners, and Cantors. NEVER will she promote conservatism.

Can’t argue with that. I see it essentially the same way.

I had the toughest time coming up with ‘Rockefeller’ yesterday. LOL

I generally refer to this group as globalists, and leave it at that.

CFR, Bilderbergers, Rockefeller, the U. N., the Democrat Party, the Marxists, the Socialsists, the Communists, even the Islamists, they all see globalism as a way to neuter their biggest competition, and that’s a rational sound United States of America.

That’s how I see it.

The “hoes” are the Republican sell outs. No shortage either. We seem to lose one every few days now. Or they float a trial balloon, to see if they can get away with selling out. Just whores, with huge money being thrown at them.

Very good info, iopcusa.

Cheney and Bush had all the goods on Obama and knew exactly where he was/is coming from. They did nothing to expose him for what he is.

It’s all a game and the New world Order/control is their goal.

Anything “conservative” coming out of these people is simply to protect the special interests who are promoting and moving the NWO along.

And I’ll add this from another of my posts:

I base it on observing her for a long time. She and her husband are part of her Dad’s old boy network which includes both GHW Bush and GW Bush. They are all New World Order elites. When GHW Bush visited the White House last week wearing his clown socks, I was sick. For Mr. Bush to kiss up to an avowed enemy of the United States who is doing his very best to destroy this country is unforgivable and disgusting.

Thanks for responding, not until GWB went crazy with pushing the Amnesty and a reception where I heard General John Allen’s complete Centcom presentation on US Global interventions did I began to wake up from the NeoCon frame of reference. I no longer believe anything the US Gov says or does and I find most of the Repubs as worthless/dangerous as the Dims. I think Liz Cheney is BAD NEWS all the way down the line and I think her father should be under investigation for 911 irregularities. My mindset for current leadership is “long rope/short drop”.

Well said and I agree with every word.

I trust none of them, either.

Things have gone too far and no man or woman will be able to fix this mess. They all know it and are all blowing smoke now.
