On Sunday, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) appeared on CNNs State of the Union, where he called President Obamas Friday comments on Trayvon Martin and race very impressive. He said, I think we should continue to make progress, but added that we still have a long way to go, even as he declined to second guess the verdict in the George Zimmerman case.
McCain stated that we were probably too optimistic about race relations in the aftermath of the election of the countrys first black president. I think old prejudices die hard, McCain said. We have made significant progress, but I think recent events highlight the differences that remain. McCain also said he believed that Stand Your Ground laws should be reconsidered in light of the Martin case, despite the fact that Stand Your Ground was never invoked by Zimmerman and he was acquitted on grounds of self-defense.

Arizonans say that democrats keep nominating him. They say the open primary process allows dems to crossover and vote McCain in as nominee for the republican party. The rest of the state will not vote in a democrat, so McCain the RINO gets re-elected.
Arizonans need to close their primaries.
Hey! Give us idiots in Arizona a break! Remember! We gave you all Janet Napolitano and Jeffy Flake too!!! LOL! We’ve got more RINOs here in Arizona than there are on the entire African continent.
MESSAGE TO JOHN McCAIN: Change parties!! You are not fooling anyone, anymore. You twit.
Here he is cheering on the KLA terrorists.
I agree. He has been given a pass throughout his adult life because of his POW status during the Vietnam war, but his actions since then bespeak of a person who has a huge ego who says and does what he does in order to maintain his reputation as a ‘thoughtful bipartisan guy who will buck his own party - a ‘maverick’. This is not an honorable trait. It basically says that he does not decide his course based on strong central convictions, and that he has no loyalties. In essence, he puts his career and his personal ‘brand’ first.
I can’t understand how McCain ‘s lips aren’t permanently stained brown. HE has a bro-crush since the election.
I don’t understand why he didn’t just enter his
name as Obama’s running mate and save the republican
party a whole lot of trouble.
Before I read the comments I posted a brown noser comment. Nice to see I am not the person who recognizes it.
good! then it appears both McCain and I may need to check in
thanks
cute, but it’s Arizona WATERMELON Fruit Juice Cocktail
If Trayvon had a creep azz cracker grandpa , he’d look like John McCain.
Good God, everytime I think I can’t hate the man any more he pulls something like this!
Sore/Loserman
2000
I know he didn’t run with Gore in 2000, but if there were ever a “Loserman”, John McCain is that guy.
He was wounded by the Bush team that year, and I don’t think he has been the same since.
He’s a bitter whacked out old fool. I wish he’d go home to Arizona, but perhaps it’s best he stay there and destroy himself for everyone to see, rather than have even one person still have doubts about him.
All through the debates, I was asking the same thing.
Arizona Republicans are lying their asses off.
They love the guy. You should have seen the people defending him here, and ripping to shreds the other guy for some admittedly dumb things, but nothing near what McCain does on a daily basis.
The sad thing is, McCain screws the whole nation from his office. They vote the ass back in, and we’re doomed for six more years. Not only that, he turns others Left at every opportunity.
He is seen as the sage of the Senate based on his seniority.
In short / we’re screwed beyond belief. Thanks Arizona Republicans.
Az sounds more than hip deep in GOPe.
Keep hearing how conservative it is, but then I look at who they elect as Senators and Governors and every place I’ve been there sure seemed a bit liberal.
That’s a good graphic, but I would use Merle from “The Walking Dead” instead of Danny Trejo. They kept trying to “honky up” Zimmerman.
