On Sunday, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) appeared on CNN’s State of the Union, where he called President Obama’s Friday comments on Trayvon Martin and race “very impressive.” He said, “I think we should continue to make progress,” but added that “we still have a long way to go,” even as he declined to “second guess” the verdict in the George Zimmerman case.

McCain stated that “we were probably too optimistic” about race relations in the aftermath of the election of the country’s first black president. “I think old prejudices die hard,” McCain said. ‘We have made significant progress, but I think recent events highlight the differences that remain.” McCain also said he believed that “Stand Your Ground” laws should be reconsidered in light of the Martin case, despite the fact that “Stand Your Ground” was never invoked by Zimmerman and he was acquitted on grounds of self-defense.

Obama DID second guess the verdict. The jury believed Zimmerman (from the evidence) that he was attacked by Martin, who proceeded to punch him in his nose, knocking it crooked and bloodied, piled on top of him, banging the back of his head against the concrete pavement, attempted to wrest the gun away from Zimmerman. Obama takes every opportunity to stoke racial hatred and discord. - By the way, REMEMBER ANTONIO WEST! - Just another CREEPY BABY CRACKA, I suppose, by Trayvon’s definition. - The verdict in that case stank, too. -

The destruction of America really began with the 2008 presidential race. There was Obama who hated America and McCain who worked to have Obama win the election to show he was still a good boy to the Communists just as if he was still in the Hanoi Hilton giving in to his interrogators. The remarks of Julianne Moore playing Sarah Palin were shown to be distortions and smears; however, it is the remarks of Ed Harris playing McCain that were noteworthy. Ed Harris's portrayal showed McCain as guilt ridden and embarrassed by his own party.

However, I'm not embarrassed by McCain, but disgusted instead. And McCain and the refusal of other Republicans to really stand up to him helped Obama destroy this country!
