CDC: Armed Victims Less Likely to be Harmed by Attackers Saturday, July 20, 2013 10:24 PM
By: Greg Richter
A $10 million government report on gun violence ordered by President Barack Obama has concluded that people who are armed are less likely to be harmed by their attackers.
President Barack Obama issued an executive order in January calling for the report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"Recent, highly publicized, tragic mass shootings in Newtown, Conn.; Aurora, Colo..; Oak Creek, Wisc. and Tucson, Ariz., have sharpened the American public's interest in protecting our children and communities from the harmful effects of firearm violence," according to the report.

They taught us the same thing about airplane hijackers before 9/11/01.
Oops!!
Got a hate it when the absolute reverse happens.

Obama: “Hmmm, ‘Armed Victims Less Likely To Be Harmed By Attackers.’
Make no mistake about it, we can make lemonaide from this lemon.
Re-title it and release as ‘Racist Vigilantes More Likely To Harm Helpless Black Children.’
I have spoke. Let it be writ. Let it be done.”
His Royale Majesty, Brack I
The situation is that armed people don’t LOOK
like victims. They have situational awareness,
their posture is erect and alert.
Predaters are not going to pick them as prey.
Those people who are obviously not in the right
neighborhood, who are afraid to look around,
who walk stareing at their feet, dress differently,
wearing expensive clothes and shoes, these are
the easy fat of the flock ready to be picked off.
I was honored to be the friend of the Deputy Chief of
Police in Atlanta and when out with him, he would
point them out to me and after a while it was no
problem figuring out who was a potential victim.
We needed to waste 10 million dollars of taxpayer money to reveal what every normal, common-sense thinking American has known all his life?
In my own experience the attacker gets to call the cops, if he actually wants to, after he’s face down on the ground with my foot in the middle of his back. Giving an attacker a chance to mea culpa is not productive. Once he’s shown his hand and the threat is clear, he must be grounded and held-———Then he can bellyache to the cops about how “misunderstood” he is, after they cuff him.
Ok 4ft5in tall say 100 lbs woman is confronted by 6ft5in tall @ about 260 lbs man telling her what his pleasures are going to be while raping her. I don know about you but If that were me l defanitly would feel my life @ that moment is in danger. Law says if you feel your life or someone elses has been threatened you have the right to use what ever force necessary to stop an aggressor & or attacker.pull that pistol I say because once the freek see’s that he is dealing w/ a woman that is ready to shoot him he will stop & no one got hurt. She used a force nessary to get him to stop & didn’t pull the trigger.
I personally wouldn’t hesitate. But then I don’t try to get myself into those situations or go to parts of Seattle I know are not safe. At home I carry a Beretta Tomcat loaded with Hydra-shocks and Glaser safeties. When I go out I’m always carrying.
I’ve been hunting for this article, so thank you for posting it. The NewsMax link is dead.....Do you have any other sources? It seems to not be getting any coverage.
You can ignore my previous request. I found another link here:
The CDC told the truth about guns? Well, knock me over with a feather...
