drinking phosphoric acid is not so natural. It greatly depresses body Ph.
What's the pH before you drink it? What is it after?

It’s more expensive.
Your body turns refined sugar (sucrose) into glucose. It is such a simple process for your body- it can do it in your mouth (hence cavities). Other foods need to be broken down further into the digestive system.
It's the way your body gets quick energy. Unfortunately, many are addicted to it.
No kidding. And the organic sugar, forget about it.
Funny thing about asthma. I had allergy induced ashtma. being an AF brat they gave me shots to treat them. I was allergic to basically every living thing except mud. I now have two Great Pyrennes dogs and two cats. Civvie medicine never treats the cause, they throw inhalers at people. It’s a damn shame and I get on my soapbox about this whenever I can.
I will remember that about black coffee. The stuff at work is horrid but I’ll deal with it without half and half.

What to believe.
Every year or so they come up with something else that causes Cancer.
Once it was eggs, then overcooked meat, today it’s sugar.
I believe the pure processed sugar mainly matters before the cancer starts. It creates an environment where the beginning of cancer is more likely.
For a short period after eating the pure stuff your sugar levels are much higher than the human body is historically used to. This probably gives too much of an energy surplus to your cells and causes them to divide faster for a short period. The faster division is more likely to result in coding errors which lead to cancer.
Cancer is basically cells which duplicate without control. Once the cancer begins, eating less sugar doesn’t really matter. The cancer cells eat the same thing as all your cells. You can’t starve a tumor without starving yourself.
The good news is that if your body Ph is high, things cannot use the glucose, but you can.

So, high pH in the body could help you lose weight? If so, how does one increase the acidity?
I thought “sugar” in ALL forms was fuel for nearly ALL cells?

That is diametrically opposite to my stand.
Cancer is not like fungus.
Cancer cell are not any more pH sensitive than regular cells.
You can’t change your body pH more than about .1 SU without dying.
Changing your Ph will not help with weight gain or loss to my understanding. Sorry that would be wonderful.
Test it your self with a Ph test strip. Do not drink or eat anything for 20 minutes before the test or residuals in your mouth will throw the test off. Test your saliva, drink a soda, and wait 20 minutes and test again. If you test closer than 20 minutes the residual soda will throw the test way acid and give you a false reading. (Ans: lower or more acid, depends on body mass, contents of stomach and quantity of drink)
Second test: Test, then drink a solution of one teaspoon to one table spoon natural cider vinegar (a natural acid!) stirred into a tall glass of water. Wait 20 minutes and test again. Your Ph will read 1 Ph level... Higher! (Ans: While vinegar is acid, when it is digested it is alkaline.) If it was simply the acid balance of what you drink, your ph should be lower just like the soda, but it is actually higher. (again, YMMV. Do on empty stomach for best results)
Third home science experiment, drink the same amount of white vinegar or cheap non natural apple cider vinegar stirred into a glass of water like above. Your Ph will be shifted acid, not alkaline. Cheap apple cider vinegar is actually white vinegar with apple flavoring. Tastes the same but not the same effect with the body.
By the way, Apple cider vinegar has been for years a back woods cure for many a thing. (My guess, all of them fungal) The trick is to switch the fungus off and into its spore phase or seed phase by making the environment alkaline. Works decently with most stomach "flu" or "food poisoning" cases. They are bad fungus, not viral or salmonella, they are "diagnosed" at home, and not by a real doctor. And in most cases the diagnosis is wrong.
WARNING, DO NOT DRINK PURE VINAGAR, it will burn the snot out of your throat and piss you off at me. STIR into WATER. More than two table spoons of vinegar in a 16 oz glass of water or not stirring it in can irritate your throat badly.
