Nationwide, Latino groups and leaders, including civil rights group National Council de la Raza (NCLR), have taken to the streets and the halls of power to rally alongside the African American community against the acquittal of George Zimmerman.
NCLR announced yesterday that it had joined the NAACP, National Urban League (NUL), National Action Network (NAN) and other civil rights organizations in asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to meet and discuss possible next steps to be taken by the U.S. Department of Justice following the verdict in the Zimmerman trial.
While we respect the legal process and the jurys decision, we are deeply disappointed and saddened by this verdict," said Janet Murguía, President and CEO of NCLR.
"However, we believe that it is still possible to achieve some measure of justice for Trayvon Martin and his family, so we are joining with our brothers and sisters in the Black community in calling on the Department of Justice to weigh in more forcefully on the matter."
Yet, Lispy Grahamnesty thinks GOPers can win these people over by fast-tracking illegals to citizenship.
Yup, it's all noise from Holder to appease the dim party base. How could his so-called "continuing investigation" find anything different than the FBI report of last year? They can't, and it will quietly go away or hang for years until the black racists lose interest.
Because no matter what their differing agendas, their hatred for their common enemy-white, Christian, conservative, heterosexual, and especially, males-is stronger. If once their enemy was ever vanquished, the war to jockey for position would be on.
Dipsh*ts, JUSTICE HAS BEEN ALREADY ACHIEVED!!!! NOT GUILTY!
IDIOTS!!!!!!
These organizations don’t speak for everyone. They pretend to, but they don’t.
“Very. I wonder what the rationale is behind this decision? Or if there is one.”
Socialist banding together, race only a tool and not as important to them as the overthrow of America.
Free Stuff is Free Stuff, screw a Point Five’r we only “Back” 100%centers
If there was ever a time the hispanic wacko element should just SHUT UP.....
No La Raza is putting the democratic plantation party above race.
If this does not clarify the point, what could?
Of course, the NAACP has never been about the legitimate interests of Black Americans, whom it has used merely as a vehicle for a similar attack. Booker T. Washington, the true champion of the American Negro, died fighting the then fledgling NAACP, as a threat to all that he had sought to accomplish in a lifetime of dedicated service.
If we only had more honest journalists, who were willing to probe the actual issues that face America, rather than serve as propaganda arms for those who want to destroy our heritage!
Anyone who has seen anything of what was posted on Trayvon Martin's webpage, knows how absurd it is for anyone to use him as a poster-youth for any constructive purpose! Why will the media continue to promote this travesty?

I am convinced, NavyVet, that the media is playing a dirty little game of convincing everyone that “it’s a tragedy....Zimmerman shouldn’t have left his truck....”
Some say “shouldn’t have left his truck when he was told not to...”
What they are surreptitiously doing is laying the groundwork for a negligence charge against Zimmerman. They will again hope to keep all the gangsta evidence out of the next trial. Even if they can’t, though, they will attempt to paint Zimmerman as some kind of expert who knew better than to “pursue”.
It is all a lie and a lying retelling of events. But, if they can keep that narrative before America, America will buy it due to continual brainwashing. Then any jury/judge will either know the party line or have to overcome it.
Jesse Jackson called it “stalked.”
THAT is insane.
And there common enemy sits on his butt & allows them to be run over. Amazing.
Ame to that...I agree 100%.
That’s true, but we ( whites, Christians, conservatives, heterosexuals, males of any or all of those descriptions) are between a rock an a hard place, and they made sure to put us there. We can do what we’re doing now-nothing, or nothing that matters (politics as a an agent of change has become a joke for conservatives), or we can act-and the first time we do, Obama and his minions will call down the thunder on us. They’re pushing us, I believe, to see if they can push someone over the edge just so they can drop the hammer on us.
But, as you say, if we just continue to sit on our hands and do nothing, the result will be the same, just slower in coming.
I really don’t know, what is the solution?
Racial profiling is off the table since Zim has been involved in mentoring black kids, with all the witnesses to back that up.
Negligence would be even harder to prove. Just getting out of his car to see where the suspicious person was is far from negligent. As a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, I would have probably done the same. Zimmerman acted within the bounds of prudence.
Holder will pander, but in the end, will not press any charges. The evidence is so much against him that he doesn't want to damage his career. A civil suit by the Martins is another matter.
Folks, all this hoopla is undoubtedly making some armed citizens doubt their commitment to protecting themselves and loved ones by CCW/open carry.
They see that they too can unjustly prosecuted, over and over again, until something sticks. Not to mention to be on a hit list created by racist organizations with no accountability and further supported by MSM and the entertainment industry.
IMHO, this is a concerted effort by liberals and particularly this administration to oppress gun owners into a false sense of self-preservation showing that being armed AND protecting yourself will just lead to lifelong misery.
So thus, comrade citizen, you should leave your firearm at home.
Better yet, give it me, because I am the only one who is trustworthy and knowledgeable enough to handle it.
I, for one, will NEVER stop carrying my firearm daily, damn Holder and the Jus’ us system.
I beg to differ. I think that the not-guilty verdict has emboldened others to defend themselves. Let the racists play their card, but the majority are thinking it was a correct verdict and relieved that they can defend themselves and family.
