Zimmerman – NCLR & Latinos Speak Out
LATINA ^ | 07/17/2013 | By Priscilla Rodriguez

Posted on 07/17/2013 12:16:12 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

Nationwide, Latino groups and leaders, including civil rights group National Council de la Raza (NCLR), have taken to the streets and the halls of power to rally alongside the African American community against the acquittal of George Zimmerman.

NCLR announced yesterday that it had joined the NAACP, National Urban League (NUL), National Action Network (NAN) and other civil rights organizations in asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to meet and discuss possible next steps to be taken by the U.S. Department of Justice following the verdict in the Zimmerman trial.

“While we respect the legal process and the jury’s decision, we are deeply disappointed and saddened by this verdict," said Janet Murguía, President and CEO of NCLR.

"However, we believe that it is still possible to achieve some measure of justice for Trayvon Martin and his family, so we are joining with our brothers and sisters in the Black community in calling on the Department of Justice to weigh in more forcefully on the matter."

Very. I wonder what the rationale is behind this decision? Or if there is one.

Call Bill Richardson a nasty racist name and I’ll bet there is a different reaction.

So La Raza (”the race”) is putting ideology in front of race?!

Zimmerman's last name.

He is a White hispanic, you know.

La Raza is all about liberal politics.

And living with a system that serves to protect the interest of one gun-owner over the life of one young black boy is a system that will continue to perpetuate the status quo of white supremacy upon all people of color.

Heavy sigh ... we're pilgrims in an unholy place ...

Well, a man who would shoot a burglar who attacked him might shoot a drug dealer who attacked him.

So does La Raza have a dog in this fight, or do they have a dog in this fight?

Kind of a no-brainer. Mexicans and Latinos who are here legally and hold regular jobs aren’t members of La Raza. Zimmerman was an insurance salesman, not a guy in the barrio working part time at an auto body shop and full time selling cocaine.

Assuming that gangsta Trayvon’s actual past gets to be part of the discussion at a civil suit, it is likely that Eric Holder will be left Holdering nothing but his ass

I would imagine they feel that this will further their illegal immigration cause since it’s nitwitted democrats that are leading and causing the firestorm. Not many conservatives on this band wagon.

Not to me. When this all began, a spokesman for La Raza disavowed Zimmerman. No matter what their differences, the “vibrancies” will always come together against their common enemy, YT. Until the day the last white becomes extinct, then they’ll go at each other. My money will be on the Lationos, look at how they’ve cleared out Compton.

Wherever I am then, I will laughing my head off at the Latinos living in the very same country they will re-create as the one they fled, and at the blacks for turning the civilisations left by whites into Detroit, Haiti, Zimbabwe, South Africe, etc.

This is sick and appalling. But in the land of nuts and flakes it sounds just about normal. GZ...come to Texas we would love to have you in our community. Bring your family, too. Prayers continue for you and yours.

” My money will be on the Lationos, look at how they’ve cleared out Compton.”

Yeah, the Latinos are murdering blacks in L.A. like no tomorrow. Not just in Compton, either.
