Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

One theory is those people are too depressed to act on their suicidal/violent intentions, and the drugs remove that depressive barrier.

If you’re referring to Surdyka’s testimony, my guess would be that the echoes, much like the pop pop pop, were all in her head.

It occurs to me that MOM and West play good cop/bad cop. West is the bad guy, aggressively questioning witnesses like Rachel Jeantel and others. but here in closing MOM is soft spoken and sympathetic to her. jmo

Yes, I am familiar with the disinhibition hypothesis (actually has more to do with increased psychic energy). In other words the emotions become manifest and energized — just the opposite of the “less accessible” thesis. I will stop; made my point.

the slim jim was brought up on Serino’s cross when he was a pros witness. MOM brought it up that it was found in the bushes and Serino apparently labeled it a slim jim but also said it could or was part of the awning.
