ObamaCare: The president brags about how he's bringing smart, 21st century technology to government. But the news surrounding that talk provides a showcase for how inept his administration is when it comes to IT.
'We've made huge swaths of your government more efficient and more transparent, and more accountable than ever before," President Obama claimed Monday.
But the very next day, AP reported that a "computer system problem" has caused his administration to delay yet another piece of ObamaCare for at least a year.

The free h'care promise financed by fines and enrollments is nothing but a sap-happy progressive pipe dream.
The waivers are starting b/c O's imbecilic plan is proving to be unworkable (employer waivers and eligibility waivers are just the beginning).The fraud and abuse waiving eligibility creates is mind-boggling.
Same w/ the amnesty bill----US taxpayers will be extorted til kingdom come if this ever passes.

Obama’s “smart government” IRS admitted last week that it dumped thousands of taxpayer IDs and Social Security numbers online. It’s the stupidest government in history, and computers make the mistakes even worse because of the sheer volume involved.
Part of his “transparency”?
Obamacare is what used to be called a “grand design” or “waterfall” computer project.
In government, these plans nearly ALWAYS fail.
Just as for-instance, the reserve component of the military worked more than a decade on their RCAS mobilization system (for calling up reservists to active duty and other administrative matters related to wartime mobilization) and after hundreds of millions of wasted dollars during the 1980s and 1990s could NOT produce a workable system. (The IRS and FBI experienced similar flops.)
From those and other grand design nightmares, smart agencies learned how to develop incrementally, in small bite-size pieces. This practice used to be called “design a little, test a little, deploy a little.” Or, you know, trial and error. (The reserves finally finished RCAS via this discipline.)
As another for-instance, a system that was developed over a decade in small, workable pieces was then known as the ARPANET, in which the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency developed protocols for making various computer networks interoperate.
Only AFTER researchers and scientists arrived at the TCP/IP protocol did people begin referring to the practice of “internetworking” and the platform for doing it as “the Internet.” (And Al Gore was NOT involved in this.)
Had any of this been attempted as a grand design to drive a specific government program, it would have completely flopped. (And you would NOT be reading this message.)
Obamas’ system doesn’t have any problems “mistakenly” releasing any “dissidents” social security numbers and other info. I REALLY despise what this pos has done to our country.

I keep asking the same question. Can anyone name just one aspect of health care to be provided? CEO’s of our hospitals cannot answer this question. January 1 will be a CF of colossal proportions.

What is efficient ,transparent or accountable about Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Obamacare, weapons to Al Qaeda, the EPA,

Health ‘care’ is another story.
If you were put in place for that purpose then I suppose it would look to your masters as if you are smart.
When I was an eighth grader my cousin told me he knew where I could get a job. I bit on that and asked him where and he replied, “Standing outside the Doctor’s office making people sick.” I think a certain “won” was put in office for the purpose of making America sick. In fact I don’t think it, I know it, in the same way I know where to look for the sunrise from my front door.
