Video: Judge Storms Out of Zimmerman Trial
Tuesday, July 9, 2013 | Kristinn, video by "The Count"

The second degree murder trial of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin took a bizarre turn tonight as the judge presiding over the case stormed out of her courtroom over the objections of defense attorneys.

Judge Nelson had heard several hours of after hours arguments on proposed defense evidence and witnesses.

As the 10 o'clock hour drew near, Nelson announced the court would be in recess until 8 a.m. tomorrow, prompting objections from defense attorneys O'Mara and West that would not give them time to prepare for the day. Nelson told them she didn't want the jury to have to wait like they did this morning. As West complained that he physically could not keep up the pace the judge was forcing on the defense Nelson bolted from her chair and stormed out of the courtroom.

The entire 16 minutes of the YouTube video of the end of today's session is worth watching. Advance to the last few minutes, about 14:00, for the fireworks.

I suspect she has orders from on high that the trial MUST finish before the NAACP conference in Orlando this weekend.

“......the judge will come to her senses and do the right thing: Admit the evidence regarding TM’s fighting.”

Bet ya a nickel it doesn’t happen. She has no reson to be in this situation if my idea of a judge being unbiased is right. :)

“She probably had to go to the restroom. “

Or had a heavy lesbian date she was late for.

The dog did not bark.

If someone grabbed TM’s phone and started texting to TM’s contacts, the contacts would catch on and there would be a record of these people pushing back and questioning the authenticity of TM’s messages.

I wish West had gotten this in and then asked the expert if there were any kerfuffles over identity of the texting person.

I haven’t paid much attention to this trial as it should have never reached this stage in the first place. A simple case of self-defense. This is an orchestrated circus organized by ‘people’ with a very dangerous agenda. Charles Manson is smiling.

Judge Debs was just provided evidence in court videoed for all to see that the prosecutor withheld evidence and only provided it when then were called out and the evidence they did provide contained deleted parts that were hidden behind two passcodes.

The defense is asking that these deleted parts be entered into evidence and she claims there is no evidence that Martin ever sent then — that some 7 year old did.

What’s more troubling is that there is no evidence that Martin deleted them nor that a 7 year old did — but there is evidence that the FDLE did. And that is criminal.

On top of that, their argument that the persecution clearly violated the rules of evidence doesn't concern her in the least.

The prosecution is supposed to go for the truth, not a conviction.

That's completely lost in this trial, right along with this judge, who's in over her head.

Judge Nelson’s bias is catching up with her. Her ruling (at least so far) that Thug Trayvon’s phone messages might not have been sent by him, despite two levels of security with passwords, is, of course, absurd. Sure, there is that chance. Just like the perverts who entice 13 year olds on the Internet. Might have been someone else using their passwords. So, if she sticks to that approach, she may well get reversed.

As for the animation, she is also in quicksand. What police accident reconstruction expert does not use assumptions in putting his diagrams up on the easel?

Her credibility is slipping away and she knows it.

Dont know if this has been mentioned on this thread but last night I posted an appeals case.

Exhausting lawyers violates Zimmerman’s Constitutional rights and is grounds for appeal

Zimmerman is being railroaded, it is a quick process. The defense is slowing down the conviction. My guess, Zimmerman wins on appeal.

Concur
Particularly about the objections. MOM is pushing the prosecutions. “Objection” button and not choosing to play the game when they attempt to hook them

What do you think will happen with the cell phone record? Sanctions?
What action against the judge?

She was having to deal with the prosecution arguing that anyone could be using TM’s phone which is an inane argument.

A woman judge. Great. What do we expect but hysterics from a woman—especially one invested in the pressure from “above” to convict this innocent man? I’m a woman, and I know this. Everyone can bite me if they disagree with this assessment about a woman judge.

I’m completely with you, but I’m a man and I’ll get flamed.

She’s biased partly ‘cause she’s scared. Nothing to stop them from coming after her if there’s a verdict favorable to Zimmerman. He will have a price in his head, so will she, and the jurors. It’s a no-win situation.

At this point, she may have a price on her head if he LOSES. And that side is better armed and trained.

Interestingly, they will have plenty of evidence to support their justification. This administration is creating more Timothy McVeighs every day.
