The second degree murder trial of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin took a bizarre turn tonight as the judge presiding over the case stormed out of her courtroom over the objections of defense attorneys.
Judge Nelson had heard several hours of after hours arguments on proposed defense evidence and witnesses.
As the 10 o'clock hour drew near, Nelson announced the court would be in recess until 8 a.m. tomorrow, prompting objections from defense attorneys O'Mara and West that would not give them time to prepare for the day. Nelson told them she didn't want the jury to have to wait like they did this morning. As West complained that he physically could not keep up the pace the judge was forcing on the defense Nelson bolted from her chair and stormed out of the courtroom.

It was a real eyeopener for me, seeing how things are being conducted in there.
What is galling is that Zimmerman shouldn’t even be there.
Too bad Ann Coulter didn’t hold off on her book “Mugged” until this happened. This would definitely be in there.

I think you will see a big demonstration down there. Will it extend to your area?
Extra people having a conference in Orlando is news I had not heard. Was this all a set up? Is that the schedule that the judge is trying to keep?
The storm approaching might be a real heavy rainfall on their parade!
Be sure to post as things come closer to a jury decision down there.
She has probably been watching biased MSM coverage. Given the MSM's spinning and lies by omission, what she has probably seen and heard had little to do with the actual trial.
If you question her, you will probably find that despite her strong feelings she is ignorant of basic facts about the case, and is convinced that some lies she has heard are true.

The sequestration violations by defense witness Donnelly may provide an opportunity. Given the events up until this point, if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a prosecution witness involved, the defense would be screaming bloody murder. Don’t be surprised if she declares a mistrial tomorrow.
No TV. I agree 100%. Many, many problems we see nowadays were not issues before trials were televised.

And that's a really good question because 1) the data must be authenticated to be any good at all and 2) without it the Defense is burned through no fault of their own, but by the perfidy of the prosecutors and the "judge." I don't see how this train can be stopped with a sequestered Jury standing by. A slow-motion Reversible Error in progress. Does anybody think she'll declare a mistrial because of her own actions? Can another judge step in and do it?
Like anything else a liberal does, she's going to just shove this off on somebody else to deal with, in this case the Jury. She'll find against almost (if not all) the Defense proffers argued today. She'll probably admonish West for good measure, for calling the prosecutors "liars." Let the chips fall where they may. We will freak out. Someone will blame Don West's ice cream habits.
If the Jury finds Zimmerman not Guilty, then it's over for her. There will be riot trouble in somebody elses neighborhood, she'll be threatened but it will die down. If they find him Guilty, she has made so many Errors it's guaranteed to end up back in somebody elses courtroom.

The judicial system sucks. I don’t believe judges deserve respect just because they’re a judge.
If I was a lawyer I wouldn’t be one for long. When she wouldn’t allow O’Mara to offer his condolences to Martin’s mother because it wasn’t a question, I would have asked “Do you hear me when I say I offer my condolences? There’s a question mark there, judge.” Then I’d mouth “FU”.
