July 10th is Boehner's Amnesty Conference. Marching orders will be issued and purge threats will be made by the GOP "leadership".

Call your REP first thing tomorrow and tell them to say no to Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, Rove, Bush and the rest on Wednesday!

If Latino voters wish to live free they should vote against the godless, abortionist, homosexual marriage pushing, Marxist/socialist Democrats!!

The GOP would get a lot more hispanic votes if they passed initiatives that made it easier to start up small businesses. A lot of hispanics I know would be very happy if the invasion (they don't call it that) weren't bringing undesirables into their neighborhoods.

The GOP is actually being racist when it assumes that hispanics want to be cheap labor and the recipients of freebies. It would do better appealing to those who want to move up in a US that's better than Mexico. JMHO

absolute drivel.

The piece assumes a homogenity that does not exist.

The distribution may not be balanced but can be increased.

Totality is not necessary. A wider margin will do nicely

Is amnesty for hispanic illegals the only issue "hispanic" citizens care about?

More than jobs? Taxes? National Security? Social rot?

I don't think so.

While they are so FOCUSED on the Latino vote, they are totally ignoring and insulting their base.

Their FOCUS on Latinos means they are taking the votes of the rest of Americans for granted.

If the GOP would grow a pair, disgruntled conservatives would stop staying home, and more than make up for the loss of the Latino vote.

Don’t believe it? Just look at what Rubio has done to his chances of EVER running for president.

The Latinos should do it the right way, wait their turn, become naturalized citizens, then the GOP would be serving American citizens, and not foreign invaders.

The tail is wagging the dog...again.

For sake of argument, let’s say the Republicans pass amnesty and earn the hearts and minds of Hispanics by doing so. Let’s say we throw the borders open wide and let anyone who wants come into the country. Let’s make Hispanics comfortable by supporting the socialistic, paternalistic, and statist forms of leadership in South America and Mexico.

Yeah. Let’s embrace the Sodomites while we’re at it. Let’s pass plural marriage as well. The Hispanics will love us forever! While we’re at it, let’s hand out government largesse, paying people to vote for us. That way we’ll win elections, and Republicans will be in power forever.

Gah!!! (my extreme sarcasm tag)

"Major Republican donors remain adamant in their desire to see Congress pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill...."

Read: "Major Corporate donors to GOPe, demanding a steady stream of slave labor from South of the Border, who don't give a whit about the welfare of their employees...."

Is the GOP Ready to Give Up on Latino Voters?

One can only hope. The GOP really needs to put down the meth pipe if they think that giving amnesty to millions upon millions of semi-literate laborers will win them new voters. These people will NEVER vote for a Republican. NEVER, EVER! Rubio, McCain, and the rest are simply minting new Democrat voters and ensuring a permanent Democrat majority.

The GOP will NEVER be able to promise more freebies than the 'Spread The Wealth Around' party. Values and character must win in the end or the whole country will sink in its own mess.

Conservatives: Man your stations. NO on amnesty.

I wouldn’t say give up on Latinos.
Or any other democrat manufactured Special Victim Group.

Just stop kissing their tails.

And stop letting demopcrats define the playing field and assigning the roles for different groups of people.

Just treat every citizen equally, as Americans.

Republicans will never win by trying to compete with democrats by promising more special treatment and more handouts.

The GOP needs to abandon no one. They need to shout the message of freedom and opportunity from the roof tops and dare the Dems to stop importing professional victim voters for their exploitation scheme. Here again the left is getting to set the agenda. Does anyone actually expect the existing “immigrants” to remain loyal to the Democrats once they start paying taxes to support more illegals who are imported to vote for a living? This is not the African American population, who’s crutch has always been that they were “involuntarily brought here” so they are owed a living. These current immigrants for the most part came to America to better themselves. Pandering politicians will be able to label them victims for just so long.

The question is: what do "Latino" voters want from the GOP? What does the GOP have to do specifically for them to get their vote?

The GOP is doing what it always does....they listen to the dems telling them they won't win any more elections without the Latino vote and immediately march to the dems drum....as id the dems would actually tell you the truth about winning an election. GOPs problem is they don't really believe in conservative principles!!!

Democrats are the party of WHITE LIBERAL ELITES, poor blacks and poor Hispanics ( blacks and Hispanics are the groups that keep white liberal elites in power)

Republicans are the party of everyone else.

Democrats gave up on the 'right-to-life' vote - and they gave up on the white middle class NRA vote. Democrats were smart enough to know middle class NRA members was a waste of their time and money.

Going after the black and Hispanic vote is a waste of Republican's time and money too...

Look at South American dictators and the 'poor' who buy into their lies... it's how Castro came to power - lots of lies for fools...
