Reuters columnist David Rohde said this morning on CBS that it was "terrible optics" for President Obama to go golfing and Secretary of State John Kerry to go yachting as the Egyptian leader was overthrown:

Too many people keep thinking that the Democrat leaders give a s**t about anything but themselves and the Democrat party. And they only care about the Democrat party because it is the vehicle they use to propel themselves into the government treasury to loot it. Care about The United States? Come on! Care about the little people? You must be kidding.
One of the things I love about FR is the quick and devastating wit.
For any previous Administration, especially a Republican one, this would be more accurately described as Dereliction of Duty and gross negligence.

So the “optics” of him out smoozing on the campaign stump in Vegas the day after Benghazi wasn’t ‘terrible’? No photos of the ‘Campaigner-in-Chief sweating out Benghazi in the same manner that he was so ‘concerned’ about the Osama raid (so he could campaign on having ‘personally’ taken out Osama) .... hmmm, wonder why that would be? /s

Their role is really more one of being front men for those who are pulling their strings.
Kerry and Obama are the Spokes Models and Teleprompter readers for the people who are the public face of those who are really running the show.
If it looks like a duck, it’s not a duck. It’s poor optics.
Brush and Bush? You provided too many hints. The despicable characteristics you are referring to are mostly invented by the left, however. The actual ones are minor and go unrecognized by them. Namely, being too liberal, and thinking he can appease them by acting like one. That only fuels their hatred.

I reject the notion that Obama et al are 'puppets'. Considering them so, removes the burden of responsibility for their heinous acts from their shoulders, and places it on some unknown 'other' who is invisible and not likely to ever be discovered.
I reject that mechanism completely. I hold these monsters directly responsible for the crimes they've committed against us - and yes, I believe they've planned and executed every bit of it.
