How was your 4th?
I'm like you, stay at home and
avoid more traffic that I deal with on a daily basis.
Plus another chance for some R&R.

We don’t really have any special 4th traditions. Just being
home from work was a treat! :)
Fireworks will be heard in a couple hours if the city is having them this year. There has been a complete burn ban for a couple weeks....BBQs only. There was a partial lifting of the ban Tuesday and I’m betting the closed fireworks stands, none in the city (illegal), opened to a rush. I’m already hearing scattered pops and booms.
It rained over night, not a lot, but maybe enough to allow the city display. Tradition is a baseball double header and fireworks after, close to midnight. No sun all day, so the usual second game could be kinda dark.
I'll second that! Friday morning will be here soon enough.
