Fireworks will be heard in a couple hours if the city is having them this year. There has been a complete burn ban for a couple weeks....BBQs only. There was a partial lifting of the ban Tuesday and I’m betting the closed fireworks stands, none in the city (illegal), opened to a rush. I’m already hearing scattered pops and booms.

It rained over night, not a lot, but maybe enough to allow the city display. Tradition is a baseball double header and fireworks after, close to midnight. No sun all day, so the usual second game could be kinda dark.

I could hear booms in the distance from our Fireworks Fandango. We stayed home. We’re party-poopers. LOL!

Altogether it was a good day, though! :)
