Still cloudy and muggy on the east coast. All the moisture coming up from the gulf...I hope someone, somewhere is getting a break they need. LOL

Going OK. Still with guests. My brother and his wife from Texas coming later today. They're going to leave Jenny with me and head up to my sister's house in the city tomorrow.

My sister from Georgia is heading up to the city to visit my sister up there.

Woo-Hoo, it's Independence Day weekend and I'm outta here for 4 days! Way too hot to be working outside around here, heading up north to my Sister's place.

Any big plans your way?

Going north for 4 days? Where up north? Is sister going to wait on you hand and foot?

Nothing planned other than renting a couple movies for tonight, maybe go to the local park for a bit tomorrow (if it doesn’t rain), and Friday is looking like it might be the first day without rain where I can go to the pool for a couple hours.

We usually stay home for R&R so we’ll see.

So, if I don’t see you before you go, Happy Independence Day!

Sadly all fireworks, for the last few years in the whole of Anchorage, have been banned. (But we all know that it cannot be enforced.) And up until today, because we are getting a little bit of rain, ALL burning except BBQs was banned.

The fireworks stands, outside the city, are running commercials, but with a note about the ban maybe still being in place.

The city does put on a big display downtown each year. Haven’t heard about this year.
