Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The problem with this trial is very fundamental - there is no credible evidence against Zimmerman.
That’s what I understand as well —
Oh, you are no longer allowed to call one of “Holder’s and Obama’s people” a bad name. Not in the ObamaNation. This is a fundamentally transformed AmeriKa, after all.
One of those nightly panels is on a show called “HLN After Dark.” Last night they actually put together some kind of jury - I think it was 9 or 10 women and 2 or 3 men. The question that they were asked to answer was “Does Zimmerman’s story make sense?” Referring mostly to all the video and audio evidence presented on Monday. The results were really scary for Zimmerman: 11 votes “No” and 1 vote “Yes.” All the women voted “No.”
Thats why I have to shake my head at those who are doing the victory dance right now and think Zimmerman is home free. NOBODY knows what a jury might decide. And this thing is weeks from being over. The prosecution may have a big surprise they haven’t played, yet.
Not really following this closely. But I do want to know ahead of time when the verdict will be reached. Does anyone have any idea?
And arguing, just for the sake of arguing, is immature and not the least bit educational. If we want that we only have to turn on the radio or tv.

Seems the judge has already reached a verdict.
I have heard 2 or 3 weeks.
On the contrary, there is a plethora of credible evidence (and testimony) FOR Zimmerman. At least, thus far.
If the state doesn’t have a rabbit up their sleeves ...this case is lost to them. Unless the fix is truly “in” and this trial is really all for show. And unless the jury is tampered with (threatened) between now and the moment when the verdict is read.
Only time will tell.
The best example is the interrogator saying there was a video...and GZ responding "Thank God". No bad guy with underlying malice would say that.
Jury is composed of some interesting people that most Prosecutor’s wouldn’t want on this jury.
So, there is hope.

Yes, but there comes a point where it’s just ludicrous. Show another point of view when it makes sense, when it begins to defy all logic and sounds like liberal blather, it’s too much.
Baldo keeps driving this ill will speculation but if Serrino thought that the fp comment indicated ill will why didn’t he file Murder 2 charges???
She is so BLATANTLY obvious and seems to not care who knows it.... sad, sad!!
Seems that was the case when she first walked into the courtroom on Day One. But that’s just my take.
Have no idea — the defense puts on its case after this — 2 more weeks???
Isn’t this what this court is doing right now? Arguing? It’s definitely educational to me....
