Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. I was waiting for some medical testimony, but got distracted and cannot read the entire thread (got up to the 1000’s and had to quit to do some actual work LOL). Am interested in a kristinn-like summary of ME’s testimony (and anyone who testified after ME)...as well as a comment as to what significance it may have had...or just your general “take” on it. TIA.
Yep, it’s pure insanity. I just can’t wrap my mind around some of this as it is so far out of bounds. I’ve landed in an alternate universe, for sure!
And who knows the law better than the judge? Nobody. There’s your proof of guilt, send her to jail forthwith.

This ME was an utter joke. Appointed initially by Angela Corey. Extremely defensive and biased. Used the words ‘minor, insignificant’, etc when talking about GZ’s injuries. Looked at his injuries from pictures, never in person. Claims the injuries to the face were due to one blow, same for the back of the head. Washed her feet in the autopsy dish!

The top things George Zimmerman should not have done:
He should not have been afraid to die while getting his beating
He should not have followed TM no matter how suspicious TM acted
He should not have gotten out of the truck because he should have been too afraid to walk around his own neighborhood.
He should not have failed to memorize all the streets in his neighborhood
He should not have been looking for suspicious acting characters in his neighborhood.
He should not have become a neighborhood watcher
He should not have carried a gun to protect himself
He should not have cared about his neighbors and kept to himself
He should not have been born whitish.
She admitted that injuries to Martin were consistent with hitting Zimmerman, and that injuries to Zimmerman could have come from multiple blows against concrete.
Ok, the ME was an ME only to pictures of GZ. Which she stated his injuries were at the most three easy blows maybe as few as one. vey small, non life threatening injuries. She lied right through her rat like teeth. She was appointed by Corey as interim ME.
Had he gone to the hospital that night, I have no doubt that they would have taken an xray at least if he described the event and prescribed some type of anti inflammatory drug.
The ME they put up never examined GZ but simply was called to paint a picture of GZ injuries as insignificant. She began by saying G had been hit maybe twice. On cross, she had to agree that from just the pictures, G could have been struck 14 times.
I feel like I am watching the presidential debate between Romney and Obama that was moderated by Sandy Crawley
The ME who was recommended to her position by Angela Corey said that all of GZ’s head injuries came from 3 impacts but under cross she was forced to say as many as 12.
Per the talking torsos at wft she apparently has a questionable history up there in Jacksonville.
“Can someone please chime in as to the likelihood of TM’s past/past schooling being entered?? This is pissing me off.”
Also wonder if TM has any tats that would lead to hx og gang activity.

Just as I did with Obama’s eligibility and the ridiculous notion that he was an automatic British citizen. He wasn’t - UNLESS Sr divorced Kezia and every other wife he had prior to Obama’s birth and marriage to Ann.
When I was young, I was doing a headstand on my bicycle seat while riding down the street. (true story, btw).
I was doing OK until I hit the curb. Went down headfirst onto the concrete curb. The other kids went and told my mom she had to come get me because I was laying there and not moving.
My mom said I’ve never been the same since. My sister told me they had to scrape up all my brains and sew my empty head back together.
I think they were both right.
Just asking, but yesterday when the female cop who interviewed Z was played, Z's background was covered fairly deeply, in terms of education and so on.
Doesn't that give O'Mara an opening to do the same with Martin?
