Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. Such an interesting back story. I guess the jury won’t know of any of that, will they? Other than OMO pointing out she was appointed by Corey, they know nothing of the complaints, right?
And since this jury was selected due to their admitted disinterest in the case, meaning they carry no bias, would they even know how important it is that this one was appointed by Corey? Things that make you go hmmmm.

Serino says "these [expletive] punks always get away" and "[expletive] punks" was said in a matter-of-fact kind of way. A few days after the shooting, Serino says a tool was found in the bushes behind one of the witness's homes."It was a piece of an awning; I believe it was a piece of a window, piece of hardware basically. It looked like a slim jim," said Serino. He explains that this tool is used to break windows.

Foxnews pundits making big deal of the point that Zimmerman invoked God and what he believed God’s will was. As a minister of the gospel, a preacher, and a pastor; I believe in the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, which is a theological, biblical doctrine that espouses God as being in control of ALL THINGS. God determines the date of our conception, the date of our birth, and the date of our death. God knew and was aware of everything that happened before it happened, and God permitted it to happen via His Sovereign Power.

There was a slim Jim found later in the bushes next to John with the flashlight house days later. The duhtective did not tie it into this case.
She is attacking the defense for the bad photographs but she has the same photographs.
She is asking MOM why are we looking at these photographs?
Witness is interrogating the defense attorney(!) MOM is always being gracious in response.
Why isn’t the judge exerting control over the witness?

This woman is combative and obviously a joke. MOM has totally dismantled this woman in every way.
OMG, this trial should have never happened.
There are a lot of people who have died from much less visible trauma to the head. Any head injury has the potential of being fatal. She calls all these injuries as insignificant, but I bet she has seen people dead on the table with less visible head injuries than this.
She is really a pathetic witness. She is so incredibly biased.

When you have to repeat the question over and over, the witness is clearly being evasive and deceptive.

I can’t disagree with your comments. I see it as well.
A mere hairline skull fracture can easily have severe consequences. If multiple blows involving hard objects have already caused bleeding on both sides of the head, you’re not far from irreversible damage.
Have to wonder if the defense is trying to throw this - either as a spiteful “I can’t win an unwinnable case”, or to induce race riots.
Amazing cross exam. O’M has moved her from one blow to possibly eight!
