Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. Why the hell would they use a ME to give testimony about GZ injuries.
This is unbelievable. She’s guessing that’s the shape of his head???
I cannot believe this is supposed to be a professional non-biased witness, who is clearly totally biased and hostile...
Every needs to ask themselves, why she is behaving like this?
Honestly, this is pitiful.
Has to strain to see any injuries. If I were MOM, I would laugh and say no further questions.
Goose or chicken? Or more appropriately, ostrich (head in sand or other darkened place).
Because she is a tool who will say whatever necessary to achieve the goal.
It’s probably THE most ridiculous testimony thus far. And she has some really stiff competition re: Jeantel’s...lol.

What if George shows up in court with his head shaved, and there is no “lump” on his head where she thinks the anatomical abnormality is located?

Also, it IS plausible that GZ was on the grass the whole time and thought he was on the concrete. Having your head slammed on the grassy ground still HURTS and probably feels like your hitting concrete. Gee Whiz...
And Holy what the??? CNN just called the woman THE Chief Medical Examiner.... WHAT???

Maybe MOM should have Z’s head shaved so he can point to the missing lump now...hehe.
We are gettung unto the realm of one of the cases I heard as a jury member in King County Superior court.
A four year old had suffered a subdural hematoma from a fall off an 8 foot slide at a Seattle public park. Both sides brought in expert witnesses to testify as to the severity of the injury. The plaintiff even hired a very expensive “forensic artist” to make large, detailed drawings of the kids head in cutaway view.
Key phrase: Both sides brought in expert witnesses. The defense will bring their own expert in to testify on this. It will be fun. :-)
How much is she getting paid for this testimony ?
