Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.

Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.

Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. The threats are out there. The ME, EMT, police have all heard them. Police probably used to it. ME and EMT probably not so much. This has to have had an impact on testimony. The truth will have to be coaxed out by the defense.

As Natasha Richardson's loved ones prepare to attend the funeral of the Tony Award-winning actress near her country home in upstate New York, PEOPLE has confirmed new details about the day of her ultimately-deadly fall at a Canadian ski resort – and critical lapses in her care that may have contributed to her death. Richardson, 45, was on vacation with one of her young sons at Quebec's Mont Tremblant resort March 16 when she fell on a beginner's slope known as Nansen, a run popular for its gentle slopes and forgiving turns. Although her fall may have first appeared minor – she reportedly refused to be taken to hospital at least twice – the head injury she suffered is a type that, if tended to quickly at a qualified trauma center, can often treated successfully – and can just as easily turn fatal if not treated in time. The New York City medical examiner's office ruled March 19 that Richardson died from blunt trauma to the head, causing massive internal bleeding in the brain. In such cases, blood from a damaged but still-pumping artery can quickly pool in the brain, creating pressure that must be relieved before irreparable damage is caused.

His daughter is an adult not affiliated with the case. She is a relative of a defense attorney. She can do or say whatever she wants as long as it is not breaking any laws.

You need to replace the whole window. For those type of locks, they are designed to 'lever' pressure down against the window frame, giving the thumblatch quite a bit of resistance to being easily re-opened. If you can get a thin piece of steel flat stock strong enough to dislodge the lock , then your window isn't sealing anyway.

Any strike on concrete with the head can lead to a tear of arteries within the skill resulting in death.

She says the injuries were insignificant...

What's important is what Zimmerman thought about the injuries. He thought that if the beating continued, his life would have been in danger.

The Trayvonbots want Z to have waited until the injuries WERE life threatening to act, and which point it was probably too late.
