Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. Yes, makes sense, but it wouldn’t look good for him if she were seeming evil kill and maintaining her professionalism.
But, if she did serve a purpose for him, he wouldn’t probably be as aggressive.

This ME is appearing to be biased with a whole lot of arrogance added to the mix. Re: swelling/lack of swelling.... Medical Professionals have always told me that HEAD INJURIES without swelling are larger concern, than when swelling is very visible.... it could indicate that brain is MORE impacted because the tissue did NOT absorb the trauma...........

OMG. I think that was me that pulled the chair out......lol. Sadly, I did that to someone in school, felt terrible.
As an EMT I have treated a patient who had fallen out of a truck bed on to the pavement. There was really nothing to see on his head, but he, in fact, died of head injuries. He was unconscious. Fell about 4-5 feet from a moving truck. This women is full of sh!t.
Must've been a hell of a lick to skin the knuckles on both hands.
And after already having had his nose broken and having been beaten and having been verbally threatened with death as well...when TM saw and reached for his gun, GZ KNEW he better get to that gun first...and use it.
They have to walk a fine line....between bully and effectiveness.
I theorize that the jury would look favorably upon by MOM so he gets a little more leeway..than say West or Bernie.

professionals, not so much. You are NOT supposed to get rattled if you are giving the FACTS.

She’s bought and paid for by that she-beast Corey. However we must keep in mind that the jury might by into her testimony. How many times haven’t we watched trials and think one thing the the verdict comes back and it’s like what the heck trial did the jury watch!

I was told by a very competent EMT that I should gently spit it out, and NOT to swallow it.
That is why I wouldn’t want her to come to my aid, if she could qualify to be a competent EMT.
She has special pictures that don’t show the swelling — special non-swelling photos for state MEs.
Such an interesting back story. I guess the jury won’t know of any of that, will they? Other than OMO pointing out she was appointed by Corey, they know nothing of the complaints, right?
And since this jury was selected due to their admitted disinterest in the case, meaning they carry no bias, would they even know how important it is that this one was appointed by Corey? Things that make you go hmmmm.
Exactly. With no swelling, the fluid has nowhere to go and no outlet (very dangerous)..thus possibly causing death.
Notice how the state is completely unconcerned and dismissive of all of GZ’s injuries.
I’ll say it again. This is the biggest bunch of legal BS and travesty of justice that I have EVER seen...even including the OJ trial.
