It's one of the more interesting what-ifs of the past few decades. What would have happened if both George W. and Jeb Bush had won their gubernatorial bids in 1994? Which brother would have run for President in 2000 against Al Gore? Late in George W. Bush's second presidential term, I asked his father this question. The senior Bush shrugged, waving off the hypothetical. "Who knows?" he replied. "Didn't happen." Then, after the briefest of pauses, the 41st President added, "If Jeb wants his shot, he should have it. He's done the work, been a governor--a very fine governor, I might add--and if he wants to go for it, I hope he does."
That hope, it is safe to say, endures. No one who knows George H.W. Bush seriously doubts that the former President would like to see Jeb mount a campaign for the White House

Come, and gone. He's yesterday's news.
As intended.
Of course, it really doesn't matter what conservatives think. The GOPe will make sure that one again, its candidate is chosen by liberal, northeastern establishment voters in states with 'open' primaries and the MSM. The MSM will be out there declaring 'winners', 'losers', and 'frontrunners' based on their skewed liberal perceptions.
Two from the same state? Never happen.
Stay out of the Bushes!!
No, to get lost...
Preach it!
wrong party or maybe they really are the same
MSM always does. remember so-called maverick mccain. remember frontrunner and presumptive nominee romney after LOSING in iowa being treated as the winner.
Another Bush? The media would tar and feather him the day after the nomination. Absolutely no chance to win.
Unless of course the fix is in for the Dem candidate and the fixers WANT an easily defeated Republican.
Anyone know a Repub who would not be defeated?
2016: Bush vs. Clinton, again. No matter who wins, America loses.
I was convinced at one time that our votes didn’t count. Then I went back to wasting my time voting. Now I KNOW my vote doesn’t count. I’ve voted for the lessor of two evils twice in a row and I still got evil.
I knew a guy years ago who said “I don’t vote. It just encourages the sons of bitches.” Now I know what he meant.
It is Jeb’s “time” to GO and stay gone. Nobody wants him esp. since he turned out to be a big RINO.
Our slogan re Jeb Bush should be “Go, Jeb, Go, AWAY and Stay that Way”
(Nothing personal but he’s incompetent).
“Jeb Bushs turn? You mean the idiotic RNC will nominate another horrible candidate just because they have put in their time?”
It is the way an elite aristocracy works.
If the question is has the time come for him to retire and involve himself in international charitable work, alongside his brother and father, then sure.
“Or will America be that stupid to elect another Bush?”
America elected Obama. TWICE. I think it’s safe to sat that whether another Bush gets elected won’t depend on the intelligence of America.
The answer to that question is Hell No! We don’t need Royal Families in the United States and this family’s track record is nothing to brag about.
I will take Jesse Jackson’s advice on this one. “Stay out da Bushes”.
