The Libertarian Party applauds the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision today to strike the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), a federal law that discriminates against non-heterosexual marriages.

The Libertarian Party has supported marriage equality since its founding in 1971.

On the SCOTUS Live Thread this morning there was a foaming-at-the-mouth libertarian who mocked posters’ belief in God and thought the Supreme’s decisions were just great.
He called FR posters “jack-booted conservatives”, among other things.

He’s still here, which I can’t understand. Are there no moderators anymore?
