Moments After DOMA Ruling today by the Supreme Court- Plaintiff Sandy Stier in the Prop 8 case promised to keep pushing until gay marriage is legal in all states.
“We want to thank the justices for overturning DOMA. It is so, so important for us and all families. And, we thank the justices for letting us get married in California. But that’s not enough. It’s gotta go nationwide. And we can’t wait for that day.“

From the AP story I read only a portion of DOMA was overturned.
So the sodomites are wrong.
I bailed out of facebook...the pro-sodomy and pro-big government spewing from old lifelong friends was too much.
I just quietly went away.
What the EFF does that last statement mean? I’m arguing from the christian perspective, which preserves our nation, which preserves the greatest liberty for the greatest percentage.

But some will ask:
“What is the ‘right’ thing?”
Which means that a [normally unnecessary] constitutional amendment "defining" marriage as one-man-one-woman should have passed easily and fast 10-15 years ago, if conservatives could see that far ahead. Conservatives now would need 6 more states to ratify the amendment - some possibly where the people were denied by legislature to vote on the issue, by hook or by crook.
While conservatives / Republicans dithered, liberals were acting. Which is why they rushed to get as many states as they could to legalize homosexual marriage.
And "traditional" is probably not the right word to use in regards to marriage. Marriage has little to nothing to do with "tradition" - it has to do with the Natural Law. So the word "natural" is much more accurate and appropriate with regards to marriage, than "traditional" and "non-traditional."
Depends on where you live. In states that allow gay marriage, federal benefits will be allowed to gay couples. Not so [as yet] in states that DO NOT allow gay marriage.
However, to be sure, there will be a challenge to not recognizing out-of-state gay marriages in states that do not allow gay marriage - citing the Full Faith And Credit Clause of the Constitution.
