A day before the first set of school closings was set to begin, Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis had some harsh words about how the Chicago Public Schools are funded and managed, blaming much of the districts problems on racism. WBBM Newsradios Nancy Harty reports, at a luncheon on education reform, Lewis told members of the City Club that Chicago is the most segregated city in America. In a healthier social climate Ms. Lewis & the "Blame Game" would be only a sorry joke.

Just this weekend I heard my MIL say...”the problem with this country is all the rich people”. I am still in shock by that comment. I shouldn’t be, she is a huge lefty from Chicago.
IOW, they are running out of other peoples’ money.......fast................
The reason it’s so segregated is because the majority of the black people there aren’t exactly the best about taking care of their property. People who take good care of their homes dont want to live in a trashy part of town. A lot of them don’t have their priorities in whack and old rather party than do what they’re supposed to and it shows. Why should “rich white people” have to pay more so they can have better schools anyway. They’re not rich Jaba the Black Hut, they just have their priorities straight.
That a$$ is big enough to fit ALLLLLLL the race cards.
Please reassure us that this really is not Ms. Lewis?

And if a President of a Chicago organization blamed “poor black people” for the crime problem there, it would be a national news uproar for days. Plus demands for their resignation, forced apologies, forced “sensitivity training”, forced “charity donations”, etc. While this gets the usual crickets, except for here and on social media.

Almost spit up my coffee on that one...LOL
Too many people (Democrats) making too much money pimping this racial hatred now to really make an impact against it.
They have to keep going, keep ratcheting up the hate to keep the revenue flowing, and their sheep interested.
We lost control of the language 30 years ago, and now we pay the price for that.
I agree with her except the problem is they keep donating to NObama and other dims instead of rising up to protest high taxes and wasteful spending. She is half-right.
“Blaming Whitey has always worked so as to avoid taking responsibility for self-inflicted pathologies.”
You cannot address the real problems in today’s black inner-city because you would be called a “Racist!!!!” by the people making tons of money pimping racism and poverty for profit.
They don't feed him well in them there rich, white folk supported schools.
She has more chins than a Chinese phone book.
Maybe if Lewis eats a less, there will be enough money for the indoctrination system.
It’s NEVER their fault.
No wonder many are permanently settled at the bottom of the socio-economic barrel.
I would blame first the parents who don't invest enough of their time in their children and their education, secondly, the teachers, many of whom are among the most incompetent products turned out by universities today, and finally the education system itself with its perverse rules, incentives, agendas and curricula.
