The Blaze???

Seriously? I hold The Onion, The National Enquirer and The African Press International with more regard than I do Beck and his claptrappery.

I have more - much more to say on this. I have news that will change the lives of every man woman and child on the face of this earth.

And I’ll be releasing this earth shattering news in 24 hours!!!!

Lee continued to say that he has “no evidence” that Roberts was being blackmailed, but said that doesn’t mean Roberts wasn’t under any kind of “direct pressure."

This is the bombshell?

This is what was supposed to bring down the power structure of both parties?

Really?

The answer is, we don’t know.

And that is one of them most troubling things about this. We cannot trust our government officials, when all this data is collected and we don’t know if someone is getting blackmailed or not.

As I have said a number of times, this is corrosive...

We should avoid this situation as totally as we can.

Well, WHO blackmailed Roberts and Alito and Kennedy to vote against the AZ Voter ID bill? So now a STATE is not allowed to demand proof that its voters be CITIZENS??? Ridiculous. If upheld, this republic is finished.

Was Justice Roberts Intimidated Into Voting for ‘ObamaCare’? Senator Mike Lee Presents the Evidence

Without solid evidence, this is nothing more than what was stated on this forum minutes after the 0bamascare ruling was released. It is good that a Senator is talking about it, but will there be a follow-up, or will Lee be 'SILENCED'?

I think Glenn Beck’s biggest failing is hanging onto an inner belief that the what he sees as the truth will eventually be brought to light and will have the devastating effects that he’s been talking about.

In the America that I remember from long ago, or an alternate universe in which a Republican (or, preferably, conservative) President and administration were exposed for doing the things that the current one has done, the consequences would be important, huge and potentially very damaging to one or both parties.

All you have to do is look at the constant drumbeat against Bush’s ‘Domestic Spy Program’, which was nothing of the sort and how the NYT and Washington Post spotlighted it for weeks on-end, and compare it to the current NSA revelations about what data is being compiled, collated and archived. These measures exceed those of the Bush admin many times over.

Mix in the other abuses from the IRS, Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Eric Holder’s lies and selective law enforcement, et al, and Beck is correct: In a world where truth matters, regardless of who is caught with their fingers in the pie, any one of these would be enough to demand serious examination and probable punitive measures against the President.

The reality is, we’re outgunned in this battle. Objectivity in reporting is gone and the ‘big media’ is complicit in obfuscating truth and molding public opinion. There’s no such thing as unfiltered, unvarnished news reporting. Many times, you’ll read comments here sarcastically stating that the media could successfully deflect attention away from certain politicians caught on video tape with a smoking gun. Believe it. No truth will ever have the expected effect when it runs counter to what the media wants.

I believe Glenn Beck is sincere and has made a tremendous effort to present many pieces of evidence over the years, and I don’t think that it’s Kabuki theater in a ratings push. As he began to ask on the Fox TV program: What if he’s right? He has been, many times.

These are my feelings, and I won’t be drawn into any pissing contests. You disagree, that’s fine. Fire away, but don’t put words into my mouth, and don’t tell me what I’m thinking or saying.

“Direct pressure”

You mean like threatening to out him for the possible/probable illegal adoption of two children from Ireland?

Roberts let the country down and damaged America when he sided with the socialists on Obamacare - this will probably go down in history as his worst and most foolish decision on the Supreme Court. His legacy is stained with this utter stupidity.

Obamacare was NEVER presented to Americans by Congress as a new tax, so how can he possibly classify it as a tax? Further, all new taxes begin in the House and this bill began in the Senate. I could go on and on - Roberts reasoning is flawed all the way around and any rational person could see it.

It wouldn’t suprise me at all if he was blackmailed in making the decision he did. If he was, I’m disappointed he didn’t have the backbone to stand up to the evil scum, blow the whistle on them, and say NO!!!

I can understand giving in to blackmail, but a Supreme Court justice--or any judge, for that matter--is supposed to be above changing an opinion based on mere "public intimidation."

I am disappointed.
